Author's POV

Lila was sitting in class when the bell rung. Adrien had agreed to help her catch up with schoolwork during lunch period in the library.

As she made her way there, she ran into to Kai.

"Hey." Lila said.

"Hey, what's the fuss about ladybug saving you?" He asked confused with the interview on the Ladyblog that had everyone talking.

"Oh, I-uh. Some blonde girl, I think her name's Chloe or something. She made a big fuss about me this morning so I tried to put her in her place. I may have lied but at least I don't have to worry about her for a while." Lila admitted.

Kai's expression was priceless, and not the 'I-got-revenge-on-you' kind of priceless. It was the 'what-the-heck-did-you-do' kind.

"Lila, no." He groaned.

"What? What I do." She asked anxiously. "What? Is it bad?"

Kai looked down and sighed.

"She's the mayor's daughter."

"And?" Lila's eyes were wide and looking for answers.

"She will do anything to get her way, or anything to get *you* out of *her* way. Be careful around her. If you need anything, just tell me. I gotta go, I have history this period." Kai said as he headed his way towards room 312.

"What about lunch?!" Lila asked completing confused with the whole Chloe thing. Why should she be concerned. She was just a girl who's dad had special power.

"That's 5th period for me."

Lila nodded before heading her way for the Library Adrien had showed her earlier that day.

Entering the library, she found Adrien sitting at a nearby table reading a book. She sat down next to him startling him.

"Uh..." He started putting his history book over his book that he was thoroughly examining when he noticed Lila sit down next to him.

"Watcha looking at?" She asked as she took the book out from under the history book and looked at it. "Awesome, superheroes."

"Uh, yeah. They are awesome, especially Ladybug." Adrien said resting his chin on the palm of his hand as his elbow rested on the table.

"You know, a girl doesn't need a suit to be awesome." Lila said scooting closer to Adrien.

"Yeah, yeah. They don't. You're awesome! I-I mean, cool. Your cool." Adrien flushed making the girl giggle.

As if on cue, Adrien's alarm rung signaling he had fencing practice as one of his extra curricular activities.

"Wanna catch up later after school, maybe at the park?" Lila suggested.

"Yeah, the park." Adrien left as soon as he could, not noticing he left a very important book behind.

"Cya!"

Lila had just left a jewelry store and was sitting on a park bench with Adrien as they talked more about superheroes.

"You know, I might be a superheroes myself. Before I came her from Italy, my nana gave me a necklace and I think..." Lila leaned over to Adrien's ear. "It might be a miraculous. Ever hear of Volpina?"

"Yeah, I think I've heard of her in my book." Adrien said trying to grab his book out of his bag but Lila stopped him as she knew it wasn't there and instead in a nearby trashcan.

She made eye contact with Adrien and smiled before taking the necklace out of her bag.

"See. I'm actually one of the most important superheroes ever. Even more important than ladybug."

And just as Lila spoke of her name, hell came crashing down to earth, er, up to earth?
