"Mom, I can't go to school today. The principal has been akumatised. It isn't safe. He's just another poor soul that the oh so great Ladybug couldn't save. Please don't force me." Lila begged her mom. She couldn't go back to school. She didn't wanna talk to Kai or her classmates. It's been two weeks since Lila has came up with this lie. She used it every day. She didn't wanna go to a school where her classmates only like her with lies. Would they still like the real her.

"Okay sweetheart. If this problem never get solved your gonna have to get home schooled. It isn't good that you're missing school."

"Okay mom. Love you."

Lila sighed throwing herself back onto her bed as we mom closed the door. She couldn't go to school, more importantly, she couldn't face Kai.

"Lila hasn't been here in about two weeks. Maybe we were a little harsh." Alya commented as Marinette nodded slightly.

"I just hate that she lies and that you almost didn't believe me when I first told you."

"Yeah, and it only made me think that stalker Marinette had a better purpose in life."

"Haha. Very funny." Marinette said, just as Adrien and Nino joined them.

"Hey." Nino greeted, not so awkward as he did a couple of days ago when him and Alya weren't on the same page.

Thank God they made up. Otherwise the Fandom would slowly begin to die. Moving On.

"So, why do you think Lila isn't here. You couldn't possibly think that she's back in Achu after she left the first time and we believed her. It just doesn't make any sense." Alya started.

"Yeah, maybe she's sick of being made fun of." Marinette reasoned glancing at Adrien.

"Yeah, maybe."

Lila was in her room contemplating on whether or not she should open the door for Kai.

"Lila, I know you're in there. Can we talk...please?"

Letting out a loud sigh she opened the door.

"What do you want Kai?" She walked over to her bed and slumped down.

"I'm sorry about what I said a couple of weeks ago. I didn't mean it. It was just that I was upset because my dad called and said he wanted to meet up and it just really pissed me off. I know that this isn't an excuse for what I did but, I'm sorry," he apologized.

Lila looked at him before patting the bed next to her where he sat down.

"What did he say?" She ignored the rest of his apology. She could focus on that later. Kai had always had major problems with his dad. He was never around. So the fact that he wanted to meet up with Kai was as bizarre as saying that the earth is flat.

"I don't wanna talk about it." He mumbled wrapping his arms around Lila's waist and laying his head on her shoulder absorbing her body heat.

"What are you doing out of school so early?"

"I skipped." He answered bluntly.

"Why?!"

"I only had lunch left and then school was or for me. I don't have 6 or 7th period on Wednesdays.

"Oh."

"Mhm." He hummed. "I'm going to the bathroom."

He got up and made his way towards Lila's bathroom, leaving Lila alone on her queen sized bed.

Kai's Pov

I turned the sink on before noticing the sharp razor blades on the counter with what looked like dry blood on them.

"She cuts too? Was this because of her dad or school?"

I couldn't decide whether or not to confront her but figured that focusing on washing my hands was a better idea.

Shaking my hands dry I unlocked the door and rolled my sleeves down before checking myself out in her mirror. I was hot! And I definitely knew how to dress. Distressed skinny jeans, with a blue plaid shirt with a grey sweater over it and a Jesus piece. If that don't say hot, I don't know what does.

"Kai what are you doing?!" I heard Lila cackle as I ran my fingers through my naturally curly hair.

I know I'm cocky but that's what the ladies like....right? Of course I'm right. A GPA of 3.7 at the beginning of 9th grade definitely says something. I bet by the end of 12th grade I'll have a GPA of 5.0.

"What do you mean, babe?" I asked her smirking slightly at the red tint on her cheeks.

"You're just...being weird." I sat down next to her.

"Yeah..." I trailed of, thinking on how to bring up the cutting.

"Lila...you haven't been in school for a while and...I was wondering if you're doing okay. Was it me? Your dad's death? School? I need to know so I can be there for you...."

She looked up at me before tugging her sleeves downwards. She glanced down before looking back up at me.

"I'm okay. I just miss my dad."

I looked at her before grabbing both of her hands. I looked down before gently pulling up the sleeves to her right arm. She stiffened slightly before looking into my eyes with a sad expression. God, sometimes I wish I didn't like her so much. It hurt to see her this broken.

I pulled my sleeve up to showing her my arm too. She looked down before I felt her tears come in contact with my skin. I pulled her in a tight hug, whispering words that only she could hear.

"I love you." I whispered into her ear.

"I love you too."

If only you knew how much I really do.
