Lee Jihoon's Point of View
I am sleepy. I am the personification of sleep. I closed my eyes for a second and thought about how we, Seventeen, is slowly making a name for ourselves in the Music Industry. We're here in Manila for our fansign event after our Diamond Edge concert when, a certain person piqued my interest. Wearing a denim jacket over a black dress which she paired with combat boots, she caught the eye of mine. She looks innocent and soft but, I can feel that she's fierce. My hunches were correct when she combed the stray hair away from her face, revealing three piercings on her left ear.
Her eyes gazed at me for a second with pure admiration as she smiled. "So, who's your bias in Seventeen?" Her sunkissed skin captured my attention as her cheeks flushed with crimson when she took another peek at me. Are they talking about me? "The one sitting next to you. He caught my eye ever since he smiled at your music video," I looked at her lips speaking in rapid English, a language I have yet to study. Joshua, my co-member laughs and pats her head. My hand and lips moving on it's own as I reprimanded him. "Yah, don't touch her so carelessly!" I whisper-shouted as he looked shocked with my statement.
Mentally slapping myself, I clicked my tongue.
Shit.
I momentarily forgot that he's older than me. "Woozi, are you okay?" Joshua tried to touch me when she handed him a small notebook? Or a notepad? He gasped out loud and smiled widely at her. His hands gently flipped the pages and traced something in it.
"You drew me?" She nodded in agreement in whatever he said and snickered when he added, "You drew me like one of your french boys, eh?" She's full-blown laughing now and playfully did a fist bump with Joshua. "I like drawing people. If they caught my eye, I'll draw them. Sounds creepy, right?" I tapped my fingers on the table with impatience. When will she reach me? I also want to talk to her. "Nah. It's art besides, you capture the most vulnerable emotion when you draw. Ah, so this shortie is your bias, eh?" I rolled my eyes at Joshua who smirked at me and held her hand. "Can you speak the Korean language? I think your bias will absolutely love it!" Joshua shouted with enthusiasm as Vernon suddenly appeared beside them and looked at the notepad. "Wow! She drew Woozi-hyung with so much detail! Amazing!" Her eyes looked at me with uncertainty as I smiled at her.
So, she drew me? Joshua was about to touch her again when I whined and acted cute to get the other fan's attention who cooed at me and of course, to make her notice me.
"Hi Jihoon-oppa, my name is Asia," I was taken aback with how cute she sounded when she talked in Hangul and I made sure to not lose my composure when she handed me the album. Her voice is now kind unlike earlier when she talked to Joshua, the pitch of her voice was sultry and a bit velvet.
"So, who's your bias in Seventeen? Is it Joshua-hyung?" Joshua, having heard his name, looked at us with curiosity but smiled gently at her. I want to hit him with my guitar. "You," Her voice was soft and it made me feel hundreds of notes in my heart as our gazes connected with one another. The color of her irises reminded me of the night without any stars shining. It's like the black hole.
"Ah! Woozi likes her! Look at him getting all blushy with her!" Joshua gossips to Jeonghan who looks at us weirdly.
"Your bias is me?" She nodded and handed me a small notebook similar to what Joshua and the other members has. When I opened it, a drawing of myself greeted me. My eyes almost disappearing with how much I smiled. "I'm sorry if it's not that much," The sketch made me tear up a little bit when I saw her description. Written in a neat hangul it read, "How can I put into words about how beautiful you are? The way you make me want to stop and stare whenever, you sing and dance on stage."
