FIVE LIES THAT CAME OUT OF YOUR PALE LIPS

Lee Jihoon's Point of view

Can someone tell me why Asia is here at the hospital? My eyes must've been tricking me. I rubbed my eyes as the figure of Asia became more clear. She's the type of person who would never get into trouble. She proved it a lot of times and I've confirmed it. She can never even hurt a beetle for God's love and grace. For a moment I thought our eyes met, her pristine face was smeared with blood and her outfit is full black. A wild feral look in her eyes made me blink and when I did she turned her back. She looked like Asia and acts like her. Or maybe, I'm having a blurred vision because, I left my glasses at the hotel we're staying at.

She's with the nurses wheeling someone who's groaning in pain towards the Emergency Room and when a male nurse was about to touch her, she pinned him on the wall. Making me gulp audibly as she raised him higher. Her height is shorter than mine but, she lifted a grown man with just her bleeding right hand. When she realised what she was doing, she let him down and hurriedly left.

"Asia's crazy. Thinking that I would forget about her after she saved me once, dammit." A woman taller than me grumbled underneath her breath and I almost fell on the floor as I heard Asia's name. This only further strengthen my claim about seeing her here. The woman walked fast and she's cursing madly until she disappeared from the view.

"Mingyu, I think I saw Asia," I tapped Mingyu's shoulder as he faced me with tissues plugged in his bleeding nose. "Hyung, you're just thinking about her too much," He whined. I blinked and tried to text her to meet us at Mad Hatter's Café near Bangsar in just five minutes. Waiting for her to come out in the exit but instead, all I got was a phone call.

"Boss? Where are you? I'm here at Mad Hatter's Café! Are you sure you're here?" Various background noises makes me want to cover my ears or end the call. "Come here at Grimaldi Medical Center, Mingyu had a nosebleed and he can't drive," She answered shortly and ended the call. We waited in the receiving area and after 10 minutes she returned while, gasping and wheezing. Her eyes held worry in them and I sighed in relief. Asia's wearing a long sleeved blouse and a pair of jeans but, I noticed the blotches of fresh blood in her right arm. "What happened?" She asked and smiled brightly at me.

Asia smelled like baby powder and perfume that is definitely not her style. It has a floral scent that is way different than her usual white musk scent. "Where were you?" I asked and she guiltily scratched her head. "I was with my baby brother," My mind was telling me that she's lying but, I let her be. Maybe, it's for my own good but I can't help being curious about where she went. I definitely saw her here earlier. "Are you telling the truth, Asialaine?" Nodding vigorously she pulled out her phone and showed a selfie of her and a man taller than her, presumably her brother. She's wearing the same clothes as now and her smile was wide. "Thailand is such a pain, Boss. He demanded me to go to him and eat with him for lunch," I didn't realize that I was holding my breath until, she explained. "You have siblings?" I asked dumbly and she nodded, lifting up her hand to show her four fingers. "Yep!" She sat beside me and swiped on her gallery, adjusting the dim lightscreen into bright so me and Mingyu can see the photo.

"This is my Mom," She pointed at the woman who's sitting elegantly on the center. Her hair was kept in a high bun, her hands folded in her lap. She looked like those stereotypical mothers who enjoys tea time and gossiping with her friends. "My older sister Britainne," Asia then pointed the person who's standing beside her. Her hair was short almost like a pixie cut and it is dyed with the color red, her eyes were the lightest shade of brown, her nose was high and aristocratic unlike Asia's and her bottom lip is plump. "My brother Ontarioi," This time she zoomed in to a boy whose eyes where the vividest shade of green, tanned skin, protruding cheekbones, tall nose and thin lips. "And the youngest sibling, Thailandeon," She laughed and pointed her brother. His eyes reminded me of a clear sky while a storm was brewing, tall pointed nose, strong jaw and thin lips. Almost all of them looked picture perfect, as if models stepping out of the magazine living in a suburban life and I noticed that their Father was missing. And, all of them don't look alike at all.
