The next morning, was an early one for Eileen. She told herself that she'd have to put her sleep at stake just to see the boy she met yesterday. He was so charming and kind.
Eileen looked over at Jungkook, smiling as she heard his soft snoring. That's what she deals with now. She quietly grabbed her coat before opening to door and slowly shutting it afterwards.
She walked along the side of the old road, glancing over at the shops to find the right one. She smiled once she recognized the familiar vase through the glass window.
Eileen pushed the door open, hearing the ringing bells in both her ears. Her face, one the other hand, had a disappointed glance. She looked at the counter, noticing he wasn't there.
Just as she was walking towards the door, the sound of falling boxes startled her.
"Are you alright? She ran over to help pick up the fallen boxes. He heard her familiar voice and looked up.
"You actually came back." He noticed, joking of course.
"Why wouldn't I?" She chuckled, helping him pick the boxes up.
"We ended that quick yesterday. I'm not sure if your friend likes me." He raised his brow, opening the storage room door for me.
"He's acted like my older brother since we were little kids." She explained, setting the heavy box on the shelf.
"When did you move in?" He asked, closing the storage door as we walked back inside the store. He sat up on the counter, patting the empty spot next to him.
She couldn't help but grin as he lifted her next him. He did it so casually, like he's known her for years. Maybe that's why she was crushing on him.
In that moment she knew that if she spoke, her words would slip and she would be left embarrassed. So instead, she kept the answer short and clear.
"Four days ago."
"Nice." He pursed his lips together while slowly nodding.
It was silent before he spoke again. "It doesn't seem like a place for you?"
