Chapter 2

Hey everyone!  Sorry about not updating this morning, I had things going on.  Thank you for everyone who has viewed and liked this story.  Anyways here's Chapter 2.  Enjoy!

Nobody's POV-

A broken board from a boat floats across the ocean, dipping and moving in the gentle waves, causing a young man with a cloak on to become soaked with the waters near Dragon Island. The young man in question was draped over the board, passing between the fence of consciousness and exhaustion, as he shivered from the cold air. This young man had been adrift at sea for quite a while but had only had his boat mutilated into splinters and broken boards by an angry mother Scauldron, even though he had tried to calm it down (note to self-do not mess with an angry mother Scauldron, never ends well.) It was nearing noon, he could tell by the sun hitting his back, but he didn't care at this point, for he had just passed over the fence of exhaustion and succumbed to unconsciousness.

Fishlegs POV-

We have been flying for a while now, just Snotlout, the Twins and me. It's been at least a week since the anniversary of Hiccup's disappearance and Astrid and Stoick's moods have yet to turn back to normal. Heather and I had agreed that Astrid still needed some time alone, so we had decided that the twins, Snotlout and I would go for a flight, to keep Snotlout from bugging Astrid... and so that Astrid does not kill him, and Heather would stay with Astrid. "Uhh! You are so annoying! I wish that you would knock out whenever I punched you!" I sighed, 'Who is Ruffnut yelling at now?' "Oh yeah! Well, guess what? I won't pass out... wait, I wonder what it would feel like to pass out and fall into the ocean from a dragon's back?" 'Ahh yes,' I sighed 'Ruffnut and Tuffnut, as usual... Granted I wonder if that is their way of saying I care about you?' "So... Where are we heading Fish face? I really need to get back to Astrid, I know just how hard it is for her when I am gone." Snotlout said. Ruffnut turned to him, red in the face, and urged Barf and Belch to fly towards Snotlout. She urged her the Zippleback's head Barf to spray gas at Snotlout, before yelling "BELCH NOW!" At this Belch sparked causing the gas to ignite, Hookfang, having heard everything happening, tossed Snotlout into the gas and flew away "Hookfang! Why did you- AH!!!" Snotlout screamed as he was hit by the exploding gas, Hookfang flew back and caught Snotlout, said dragon rider was going to yell at his dragon when "Snotlout! How dare you think about my friend like that! I am your wife! And even if we don't like each other that much, I will not tolerate you acting this way, as a married man no less!" Ruffnut screamed at Snotlout, the latter was frightened beyond his imagination, who knew that she could get that scary?! "Hey, guys, has there been any ship wreaks lately?" asked Tuffnut "Umm no, why do you ask?" I asked Tuffnut shrugged while pointing towards the ocean "Because there is a piece of driftwood and something black on it." I looked down and saw what he was describing, from the looks of it, it was a person who was hurt. "Come on guys! The person could be seriously hurt!" I yelled at the other dragon riders as Meatlug and I headed towards the person. I hovered in the air and grabbed a rope, Ruffnut climbed down the rope and grabbed the person and I pulled them up. When the person was on Meatlug, Ruffnut jumped onto Barf and I looked at the person. I checked for anything broken and to make sure that he was breathing alright. "Guys!" I yell "We need to get him to Gothi, he's hurt." With a nod we all flew back to Berk and ignoring Heather's signal to vacate the island with Snotlout, we flew to Gothis hut and entered. "Gothi!" I pant "This man needs help, we found him on a piece of driftwood unconscious." I tell her as she comes towards me, she looks at the person and points to a bed, which I lay the person on. Gothi gets a towel and water and dabs the washcloth on his face, the man responds with a shudder, she moves away from him to brew some tea and medicine that will help the man, she writes. Gothi then tells us to go and tell Stoick what happened, we nod and leave to find Stoick.
