Heir With Secrets

Chapter 3

Hey, I planned on updating earlier today, but I had things to do.  Let me know in the comments what you think of this story.  Criticism is appreciated.

Stoicks'POV-

I watched as two men shake hands, signifying a deal made between the two. Sighing with annoyance because the only reason why I was here in the first place was to make sure that everything was legal, and nobody brought out an axe. The two villagers nodded to me and I returned the gesture and walked away to check on the rest of the village... or until somebody or a group of villagers comes running towards me after dismounting their dragons. "Chief!" yelled Fishlegs, I look at them, giving my attention to whatever, it is that they will tell me... however, I don't believe that it is a very good idea for Snotlout to be on this island... If I remember correctly, Astrid had an axe and was screaming insults at him and how much trouble he was in whenever she found him earlier this morning. Fishlegs comes to a stop in front of me, panting "Chief, Gothi told us to bring you to her hut. We found a man floating on a piece of driftwood earlier." I snap to attention "Of course Fishlegs. Thank you for telling me this." Fishlegs nods and heads back to his dragon. I walk over to SkullCrusher and climb onto his back "SkullCrusher, to Gothi's" Said dragon roars and flies off to Gothi's hut.

I arrive at Gothi's hut and knock on the door, she opens it and beckons me in. I walk in and I see the man lying on a bed and Gobber, either Gothi telepathically tells Gobber to come to her using her magic, or he just has a feeling whenever she needs him. I look at Gothi "So, I was told that you needed me? Is it about him? I ask, gesturing towards the man lying on the bed. Gothi nods, then she writes something on the ground. Gobber reads what she wrote. "She says that she has treated his injuries, however, she wanted to ask what we should do with him? "I look towards the unconscious man thinking "Would it be okay if he stayed here with you? I don't know how the rest of the villagers would react to housing him until he is awake." Gothi nods her head "She says that she can do that. Ouch!" Gobber says, then yells whenever Gothi smacks him with her staff "Okay! So, I shouldn't have said anything! "Gothi nods her head and goes to do something. I look at Gothi and Gobber "Right, let me know how he is doing later, and whenever he wakes up, let me know." Gothi nods, I look at the man, laying there, clueless as to what is happening around him, and walk out of the hut to return to my duties as Chief of Berk, all the while thinking about the man in Gothi's hut and his necklace/pendant.
