Butterflies in my stomach

(Stiles was in the hospital because of an operation he has had, no biggie but you know)

Derek walked awkwardly into the hospital room Stiles was in. The first thing he notices was Stiles slurring his words, pretty much sleep talking.  He doesn't try to hide the giggle that came out of his mouth. He steps closer towards the bed side but suddenly  stops and sighs. ''Why am i here'' he thinks to himself. ''I'm just the guy at the back of the class, he will probably just tell everyone if he sees me. I need to escape before he or anyone he knows or i know sees me.''

As Derek turns around about to make his first step out , Stiles grips his arm groaning a little bit, probably from the pain.

Derek felt embarrassed and quickly snatched his arm away from stiles' grip. ''Oh God ..cheeks, stop being red'' his mind was a mess but he couldn't just run away.

Stiles slowly opens his eyes rubbing them, sitting up, holding his head. When he notices who is standing in front of him his immediate reaction is a goofy laugh.

Derek feels like shit at that point and almost flees,again 

''Wait!'' Stiles stands up holding his hand near his lips, coughing.

Derek stops and turns around looking at the floor. ''I, um... came to see you because i was just worried for a fellow classmate-''

''Worried?'' Stiles nervously laughs rubbing the back of his head 

''No! i mean, Yes but no i hope you know what i'm trying to say..'' he starts to breathe deeply trying but failing to control it

''Derek...'' Stiles slowly walks towards him gesturing him to take a seat

''I'm sorry.... i know you don't like me in that way ..'' Derek blurs out

Stiles knew all along.  

He loved Derek. He always has.But, Derek thought only because he thinks he's  invisible, it meant that others  around him thought  he's invisible too. But stiles never even for a day thought Derek was invisible.  Quite the oposite.

Stiles  loved that dork since the 3rd frickin' grade.
