the one with two rooms
-beginning of july 2014-
oh won't you stay with me, cause you're all i need
Conversations between the married couple began to slowly increase during a few days after that night.
Charlotte had found herself crying in her bathroom as silently as she could, keeping all her gasps and her weeping muffled with a towel. When all her tears were spent, she took a nice relaxing bath, then went to sleep. This time next to Sebastian.
He was beginning to understand that their marriage would only be ideal if they both put in a little bit of time into their relationship. So, every day he would have breakfast and dinner with Charlotte, allowing him to do his business from noon to afternoon. A good eight hours at the most.
-
"So you need us to move?" Sebastian asked, one hand gently placed on Charlotte's waist while the other held the door open.
"Only for a few days," the hotel manager said (also known as Robert as that is what his tag said was his name), "Sorry for the inconvenience, but two rooms below the suite have complained about a leaking of water from their ceiling. So we're gonna check the tubes of the room for any problems. It should not take more than a week."
Sebastian looked at his wife to see her nodding at Robert. "Of course, no problem." He had always admired how she was so polite and kind to everyone. "Where are we rooming then?"
"Well," Robert began, scratching the back of his head and Sebastian feared he might have nits, so he leaned away a bit further, "Hotel George V is very full lately and we have only three individual rooms available. You're gonna have to sleep separately for a few days," he finished, apologetic eyes looking at the couple.
"Don't worry, Sebastian will be fine on his own for a few," she said, tapping her husband's shoulder.
"Yeah, okay," he muttered out.
"Great!" Robert clapped his hands. "In that case, we have rooms on level two, three and five."
"Do you want to take the five?" Charlotte whispered into Sebastian's ear, "You like views from the top."
"Yeah, fine, I'll take five," Sebastian nodded to the hotel manager extending his hand, so that Robert could place the room key to 503 in it.
"I'll take three, right in the middle," Charlotte smiled, as Robert handed her the key to room 309.
"Okay, so if you leave the penthouse in two hours it should be fine. No need to clear everything, the closet and anything in the drawers can stay where they are. We just need the floor and anything in sight clear."
"That should be fine," Charlotte nodded, extending her hand to shake it with Robert, "Thank you."
"Thank you to you Miss, and Sir," he said before turning to walk to the lift.
-
"Are you sure this is okay with you?" Sebastian asked with concern after opening the door to his room.
"Yeah, I'm fine with it. Don't worry," she assured him, leaning into his chest to kiss a spot there and then facing upwards to kiss him on the lips. "Good night, and I'll see you for breakfast."
"Mhm," he hummed, dropping his suitcase somewhere near the door and enveloping his arms around her waist, holding her there for a few moments.
Charlotte released the hold on her Louis Vuitton duffle bag to hug him back.
