Chapter 3 Off to Hogwarts

as Lily stepped down the car with James. she said goodbye to her family. her dad thinks she's going to some fancy boarding school but of course not, she is going to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. then she saw Hagrid talking to James. she guessed she didn't need to explain anything.

after going trough the barrier. she found Loli. then they went to find a compartment. well Loli went to hangout with a few Ravenclaws. so she's alone searching for a compartment, until i found

"Lily?" she heard James said, as she was walking through the hall.

"Suprise?" she said kinda awkward, she was frozen in place not knowing what to say.

"What are you doing here?" said James bewildered.

"Well you see James um I'm a witch too" she tried to explain to him.

"WHAT!!?" he suddenly shouted. he never expected his cousin was also a wizard. so many thoughts came into his mind. if she knew all along why didn't she tell me? he thought a bit upset at the discovery.

"Okay i'm sorry i never told you, i had to keep it a secret" she confessed "and i also just found out last year. Oh please forgive me James" the last thing she wanted was for her cousin to be angry at her.

"Okay i forgive you" he said not having any choice. she was the only family member he trusted and he cared about her a lot more than the other Dursleys.

"thank you Harry" she thanked him with kind eyes as she finally move foward and give him a hug.

Harry smiled into the hug and awkwardly patted her back "no problem Lils"

"i have to find my friends now. so i'll see you around Potter" she let go of him and smiled as she continued searching for an empty compartment. even though Harry's was clearly empty, she thought it was a bit awkward if she sat there. besides she wanted to give him a chance at making new friends.

after a few compartment search and a meeting of fist and face with Fredrick, Lily finally found a compartment after a she changed to her uniform. there also sat one of her Slytherin best friends Lucas Turnevey.

"hey-hey how's my favorite Slytherin?" she said sliding open the compartment door.

"better that your here" he responded with a glad look in his face.

"aww did someone miss me over the summer?" she said teasingly as she entered and sat in front of him.

"nope. i'm just bored with Casper and Helen, you know?" He mentioned his cousins with an eye roll.

"i'm sorry for your horrible summer with the most prestigious pureblood families" she said sarcasticlly.

"okay, okay i get it Evans" He said.

"oh i sure hope you do" she said in a fancy voice.

"You're weird Evans" said Luke scrunching his face in dislike.

"I find that as a quite nice compliment" she said with confidence.

"Oh i'm sorry Ms. Evans you're not weird just insane" he saud in a know it all voice.

"Better than being 'a handsome young pureblood heir of the Turnevey house" she said to him.

then they both just burst out laughing. the two could never joke around for long.

Then a first year girl came. "excuse me, have any of you seen a toad? a boy name Neville lost one." said the girl with a kind tone.

"why don't you just leave" Luke said in a demanding voice.

the girl looked offended so Lily said "Lu leave the poor girl be" then the girl's expression change and she smiled at her. "i'm sorry about him, i'm Lily Evans - muggleborn - and again i apologize but we haven't seen any toad around here." she said to the polite first year.

"alright then, i'm Hermione Granger and i'm also a muggleborn. but still thank you" she said.

"no problem Mione, bye" Lily said.

"goodbye"she replied smilling slightly.

after a few hours we finally arrived at the train station in Hogsmeade.

"hey Lils i'll see you later?" Luke said as he walked toward the carriages.

"yup laters, I'm gonna try and find Loli" she said, then he left.

"LOLI!!!!"  she shouted through the crowd of first years trying to get to Hagrid.

"what are you doing Evans?" a very familiar voice asked her. "So you heard about that?" I say turning around facing Harry "Yeah i think i'm going to stop calling you Marjorie now." He says with a serious face. "Oh thank God". " Now what were you doing?" James says."Just looking for a blonde Gryffindor who hangs out too much with Ravenclaws" i say crossing my arm and looking through the crowd. "Are you okay Lilypad? Do you have a fever? "
Said James "No James. I'm just calling my bestie. Besides you need to go to Hagrid mister or you won't get anywhere near Hogwarts. " I said
"Fine, make sure you take care of yourself."Said James in a very motherly tone. "I don't always need your help Mother." I said, then some first year pushed me and i almost fall into the Black Lake then James grab me just in time. "Of course you could take care of yourself and make sure the Giant Squid don't eat you when you fall into the lake." He said in a sarcastic tone.  "You know about the Giant Squid? I think a train ride was all you need." I said to him "Well what was i supposed to do? Roll on the floor till we get to Hogwarts." He said snarkily. "Fine fine i give up. But I'm Sirius about going to Hagrid. "
I said while smiling. "Ok, catch you later Cuz." He said then he ran off. Lost in the lake of first years.

"GRYFFINDOR" The Sorting Hat shout as James was sorted. I confess I almost cried. "WE GOT POTTER!!  WE GOT POTTER!! " shouted The Wealey Twins. "I'm so proud of you James." i hug him as he sits down at the Gryffindor Table. "Thanks Evans. I see you haven't died." said James in a playful tone. "Of course she won't die when she have her Knight in Shining Armor. Nice to see you again Harry" Said Weasley (Fred) I sigh " 1 Weasley you are not My Knight 2 I'm fine by myself people " i declared "Yeah sure" Loli snorted.  "I am" i said "Not" said Harry. "Okay maybe a bit" i confess "A lot" Loli corrected me. "Fine" i give up. "Well Evans you know whats going to complete our night." Said Weasley (Fred) "What Weasley " I said annoyed at his present. "EVANS WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?" Weasley shout as he stands on the Gryffindor Table getting the Great Halls attention.  "ABSOLUTELY NOT" I replied alredy annoyed. "Aww why? " He said faking hurt. "because you Fred Weasley are an SLIMY ARROGANT TOE RAG!!!!!" I yell "Fine Evans but next time you gonna say yes " Weasley said smirking. "Never" i replied.  The Great Hall just laugh at us. Well let's just hope this year would get better.
