Shadowletters are a subspecies of shadow creatures only found in cold places. These ones have shed the weakness to cold temperatures and the natural hostility a shadow creature has.
They only appear in the month of October.

This is temporarily an open species until the end of October. Here's a trait list
Females:
Larger ears, more bluish tinted scales
Males: Smaller ears, more purplish tinted scales
All: Horns that have a glowing line down the middle, no eyes, A great sense of smell, and great hearing.
Rare traits(must have permission): Brighter purple/blue scales rather than just tinted, Blue glowing horn strip in place of purple.
Abilities:
Ability to control shadows, basic shadow creature abilities, use the glowing strip on their horn as a flashbang.
Natural behavior:
Shadowletters are rather weak on their own, thus developing a more pack oriented behavior similar to wolves. Hunting down their prey takes little to no effort. Their prey being small dragons. They hunt by surrounding their prey, and blinding it with a bright flash from their horns and then pouncing.
When they're not hunting they are spending time as a pack or resting. They occasionally adventure out and become friends with the locals(mainly dracos)
