Chapter Seven

Alexander POV

I head downstairs and reach the parking garage. I unlock my car, step in and start driving to the tuxedo rental. We go to fancy places a lot because of her father's money, so this isn't too uncommon. I don't mean to sound conceited when I say this, I'm just stating fact.

When I get there, I pull out my credit card and pay for the suit. I head out the door and get in my car.

I drop by my dorm, just in time to miss Beauty and The Beast but get to eat some of John's incredibly good tacos. I leave just a bit after Lafayette.

The restaurant is far from here, about an hour away, so I quickly head back to the Schuylers' dorm and pick up Eliza.

I knock on room 1758 and wait for an answer. Peggy answers the door.

"Hey Alex! I'll get Eliza. ELIZA, ALEX IS HERE!!!!" Good ol' Peggy.

Eliza enters the room a few moments later, wearing a fancy light blue dress.

"Hi, Alex~!" She says, kissing me on the cheek.

"Hello Eliza, you look beautiful tonight," I say, smiling. It's really become a habit to compliment her now. I don't even know if I mean it anymore.

"Thank you, Alexander. Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, I got the car parked downstairs."

"Okay! Let's go!"

"Tell Angelica I said 'hi'" I call after Peggy as Eliza pulls me down towards the parking garage.

I unlock the car and open the door for her, then heading to my side and starting the car.

(I'm sitting next to my aunt's mom who only speaks Japanese and it's making me feel tired I don't know why Help)

"We'll be there in about an hour," I say, turning out of the garage.

"That's fine," Eliza says, staring out the window.

Hoo boy.

This is going to be a fun drive.

We arrive an hour later at the restaurant.

"Uh... table for Hamilton?"

The host looks up. "Ah, yes monsieur, your table is this way. Number 27."

He leads us to a small booth with a vase full of flowers on it.

"Enjoy your dinner," he says, walking away.

"How was your week, Alex?" Eliza asks me.

"It was pretty good, we got some new roommates."

"Roommates? I heard about Lafayette, but who's the other one?"

"Oh, the other one is Jo-," I clear my throat, "John Laurens."

"He sounds nice."

"Yeah," I say, smiling, "He is."

A minute later the waiter comes to our table.

"Hello, my name is Ren and I'll be your waiter this evening. Have you decided on drinks? Appetizers?"

"Yes, we're ready to order drinks and entrées," Eliza tells him.

We then proceed to order everything and then Ren walks off toward the kitchen.

(fun fact ren is another one of my oc's. he's japanese and he also dates clovis in the actual oc universe thing)

We talk for a while until the food arrives.
