She was leaning against the wall. Same old, peach fuzz colour. Not the welcoming kind. The type which paint was peeling off, mold forming. Arcadia sat in her same old corner, her knees to her chest as she studied the already memorised cement floors. She was in the same cell for 9 years. That was half of the amount of years she had lived. Causing her to go half insane. She was a mistake. Arcadia had been admitted for supposedly killing her best friend but that was not true. She hadn't done anything.
The door to her cell opened and her brilliant green eyes swept to it as she saw a boy, about her age maybe 1-2 years older being pushed in the cell by one of the nurses.
"Miss. Anderson, you have a new.. Roommate I suppose. We've run out of places to keep patients. Please behave" the nurse muttered quietly before she backed up, locking the door.
Arcadia looked at the boy who was just staring at her, quietly and calmly. He was beautiful, she thought to herself. He had a heart shaped face, with large turquoise eyes shining with life. He also had ash blonde hair which was messily hung over his eyes. She wanted to reach out and brush it out from his eyes, as it was bugging her but didn't. She didn't dare move from her place.
"So, whats your name? I only heard your last name. Anderson right? Im Julian. Julian Morgenstern!" He said. His voice sounded magical to Arca. Magical and kind. She smiled slightly at him, the corners of her mouth lifting up. Not the warm, opening up type of smile. The type which indicated she was crazy and out of her mind.
The gorgeous boy, Julian kept his face straight and unreadable. Clearly he must be terrified. After all who wouldn't be when a girl, his new roommate randomly started to smile a insane smile.
"Alright, don't say anything then"
Nothing
"Be like that"
She smiled more and looked away as she closed her eyes and tilted her head back resting it against the walls. She was going to see how long it took for him to lose the light in his eyes. She would be there with him, not doing anything. Just always watching like everyone else did here, in the Fairfield Asylum.
