Weeks went by. Arcadia woke up, showered and when she came back, Julian would tell her many stories. Stories about his life, stories about his friend's life, and sometimes kids stories, like snow white and Cinderella. She didn't like Cinderella though, because it related to herself but she listened anyways. It was nice.
The only thing she didn't like was how Julian began to get less happy each day. She didn't blame him, but seeing someone happy as him had made her day a little bearable. Today though, she was waiting for him to tell her a story but he wasn't in the mood apparently.
Arcadia moved over to his side of the room and tilted her head at him. Julian sadly looked at her, and sighed heavily. She didn't like that.
"I'm just not in the mood Arcadia. Im so tired. So tired of this. I can't" He whispered and his voice broke. Tears pooled his eyes and he closed his eyes. A single tear fell and Arcadia reached out and wiped it away. She leaned back against the wall and sat with him. That was all she could do. She sat by when he broke down, sobbing, his body shaking so hard from his crying. It saddened her.
Suddenly the door opened and the nurses pooled in. Arcadia frowned at them and Julian didn't seem to notice or he didn't care.
"Julian.. Erm, um we found a room for you. You won't have to share a room with Anderson anymore. Come" The nurse said.
Despair filled Arcadia's heart and she sucked in a breath as the nurse pulled Julian away from her. She reached out and grabbed his hand but the nurse pried her away.
"Arcadia no. I'm sorry" The nurse said as she dragged a broken, Julian away.
"Goodbye.." She whispered to him and their eyes met one last time before she was left all alone to count days and seconds.
