Julian

It seemed like forever since he was separated from Arcadia, and he only caught glimpses of her every so often. He wasn't doing so good. When he was with Arcadia, his nightmares were a little better but now he always woke up to his own screaming and cold sweat.

He was miserable and refused to eat till they put him back with her. The nurses didn't care. No one cared. Julian loved talking with her. There was something so serene about Arcadia and he needed for someone to listen to him.

He closed his eyes and wished for death. Death would provide him with the freedom that he would never get in this life.

Julian whispered Isobel's name over and over again, like a mantra. Isobel was the only thing that provided him with warmness. Hoping for salvation for Arcadia and himself, he chanted the name till he fell asleep.
