Night Raid Headquarters...
Hudson's POV

They say that sleeping is one of the most essential parts of our human lives. Not only to recharge our bodies, but to drift away from the horrors of reality to the comforts of your dreams. For some, myself included, we aren't  taken to some dreamland, but to a world devoid of anything but white. It is there that we watch the ones we love the most drift away from us into the light.

Mariah: Goodbye.....Eli.

Goodbye sis.....forever.

It is after those moments that we finally wake ourselves back to reality. When I did so, I found myself laying in bed, almost completely naked, with my wounds bandaged up. Looking around, my gear lied on the floor to my left. To my right, Sheele slept next to me from a chair, her head layong right beside me. As she slept, she talked to herself in her dreams, unaware that i could hear her speak.

Sheele: Nyaa...Nya....Hudson. Hudson will be....working with me today.....it seems.

What?

Sheele: Let's.....get......along.....zzzzz.....

Am I really working with her?

Several Hours Later...
Meeting Room...
3rd Person POV

Lubbock: Hey, where did Hudson go?

Lubbock entered the meeting room, where Najenda and Leone sat, wondering where their newest recruit wondered off to. As they discussed, the three of them enjoyed a light snack of various fruits from Akame's haevest.

Najenda: He went to the Capital on his own. Took the money he earned with as well.

Leone: I wonder what he plans to do with all that money?

Najenda: He already stated that it wasn't involving alcohol, Leone.

Leone: Aww!

Najenda: Yep. What a shame.

Lubbock: Anyways..... who's in charge of him when he gets back?

Najenda: Sheele.

Lubbock: Is that really a smart idea? To put Sheele in charge of him?

Najenda: It'll be fine. I think they'll get along fine together.

Lubbock: What makes you say that?

Najenda: It is best for him to have a more experienced teacher.

Leone: I CALL DIBS ON HIM NEXT!

Najenda: And see? She also has talent.

Lubbock: What the hell!? That's so unfair!

Najenda: To an assassin, more experience means a better killer.

Silence now filled the room.
