The Empire's Cruise Ship...
Hudson's POV

Good God, I look fat.

Forced to wear a large tuxedo underneath my own suit of armor, I almost stood out as the widest man onboard the Ryuusen. Fortunately, there were a few others who were much wider, giving them all the more attention.

Hudson: Despite being the third fattest man in this ship, it looks amazing.

Then I felt Bulat patting my back, despite being cloaked.

Bulat: You are a master of a wealthy family, with a craving for food, and a bit of nervousness to the extravagance of the Capital.

Hudson: I assume a poor person on this planet won't look like this.

Looking around, I muttered to myself.

Hudson: There's so many people here, and gramps over there is surrounded by a walking meat shield.

Sighing, I continued.

Hudson: This'll be a boring one, won't it?

Feeling him pat my back again, he responded.

Bulat: Stay on guard. My invisibility will give me the upper hand, but we won't know if the enemy is doing something similiar, right?

Hudson: We do.

Reaching through the tuxedo and into my armor, I grabbed the pulse blade and threw it down behind my leg, avoiding detection while an orange pulse was sent out all over the ship, turning everyone around except Bulat orange.

Hudson: Nothing.

Picking it back up, I stuck it back into place as he patted my back again.

Hudson: Why are you doing that?

Bulat: Think of them as love taps.

Hudson: Love taps?

Bulat: Yeah. Happy taps of-.

Hudson: Don't you even finish that sentence, Aniki. But still, that suit of armor is pretty neat to have, isn't it?

Bulat: Yeah. I fought with this to the bitter end in the war against the southern races. It's like my partner! However, no matter how hard I worked, in the end...it was for nothing.

Hudson: The hell happened?

Bulat: I used to be a soldier of the Imperial Army, during the war against the southern races. After our last battle, my general was taken by my own forces, on the simple charge of not accepting the prime minister's bribes. When he got back to the Capital, he couldn't even make a defense. I was made out to be a criminal. Then absurbly, I made my escape using my Teigu, and never saw the Empire in the same eyes ever again.

Hudson: Dude. What the fuck is wrong with this place?

Bulat: A lot. Oh crap! My invisibility is at its limits. I gotta take the armor off.

Hudson: I got the outside covered.

Bulat: Yeah.

He began to walk away towards the inside of the ship.

Bulat: I'll go investigate the inside.

As he left, I began to hear the sound of a recorder being played in the distance. Looking around, I saw no one playing any form of instruments.

Hudson: What the hell? Is there a band playing inside?

Oddly, one by one, the people onboard began to fall to the ground where they once stood, tired and lacking any willpower.
