CHAPTER 6

The bell rang for home time and I basically ran out of the class room

'Slow down Ally! Otherwise you will end up with a not so pretty face' Ms Niva my Maths teacher said to me.

I laughed and started walking to Ashton and the boys in the courtyard. Once I got there everybody gave me a smile and it was kind of weird.

'Is there something you need to tell me or something?' I said giggling

'What? n-' Ashton tried to say but then was cut off by Luke

'Yes!' Luke snapped really quickly

All eyes went to Luke and the silence began.

'I uh- I um- I wanted to know if I could drive you home?' Luke asked

'Uhh... Sure?' I said raising my eyebrow at him

All the boys turned to me and smiled, I said bye to Ashton, Michael and Calum and started walking with Luke to his car.

'So, why did you want to drive me home?' I asked

'Well- I don't know, I just thought maybe- I mean- I don't know, I just felt like it' he said back

'Luke is there something wrong? You're acting really awkward around me and I don't know what to say back...' I said

'I'm fine.' He replied

I don't know if he meant fine in girl or guy language so I just walked in silence. Why is his car so far away? Too much walking.

It was silence until Luke spoke up 'I'm sorry' 

'Why?'

'For being awkward..' he said

I giggled 

'Stop it. Your giggle gives me feels.' 

'What' 

Luke laughed 'Isn't that what fangirls say?' 

'What makes you think I would know?' I asked smiling at Luke

'I don't know!' He smiled back

Luke stopped behind his car. My eyes widened at the sight. It was an old black convertable, but it was restoered, it was shiny and black with some white lines, the handles silver and the seats a bright white. 

'Wow!' I said in amazment

'You like it?' he asked

'Yeah...' I said trailing off

Luke walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for me.

'Thank you' I said smiling at him

'Anything for you Ally!' His eyes widening at what he just said.

'Sorry, I shouldn't have said that' he said

'Luke! It's okay!' I said smiling at him

Luke walked over to the drivers seat and jumped in the car. We looked at eachother, there was no smiling, no talking, it was just looking into each others eyes, it felt like it last for years. His blue eyes were so dreamy and perfect. Luke then looked away and cleared his throat. I smiled and looked away. What just happen? It felt like I was dreaming, it was perfect. 

Luke started the car and the radio turned on and it bursted out with Music

'American Idiot!' I said not even thinking

'You know Green Day?' Luke asked

'You think I live under a rock? Yes I know Green Day! They are my..... Second favourite band!' I said back
