CHAPTER 14

Luke and I were now in Music, this would have to be my favourite class of all time. I loved my teacher, she was really nice, her name was Mrs Snyder. 

'Okay class, as you know, we have the full school assembly coming up soon! And we are going to have a little performance from 2 people!' She said smiling

'Now before you ask who it is, I don't know who it is, but one person will be a boy, and the other a girl, they will both sing a solo each and a duet together.' She added

'Now you guys need to nominate each other, so who do you people nominate?' she asked

All eyes turned to Luke and I

'Okay, I guess we have the 2, Luke and Ally!' She said cheerfully

We smiled and nodded

'What songs do you want for your solos?' She asked

'I'll sing 'Stay With Me' by Sam Smith' He said with a smile

'Great! And you Ally? 

'Umm, Only Love Can Hurt Like This by Paloma Faith' I smiled

'Do you guys know what you will sing for your duet?' She asked

Luke and I looked at each other a song came to mind 'Everything Has Changed' by Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

Luke pretty much read my mind and said "Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran' then he smiled at me

'Great! You guys can go out into the abandoned hall and practice'

Luke and I decided not to practice out solos together and only practiced our Duet.

We were now walking to lunch, We all sit together now, that includes Nakkia, Jasmine, Ashton, Michael, Calum, Luke and Me, we are all really close friends and its great! 

We got to our table and Nakkia was walking around the table like she was stressing out

'You okay Nak?' I asked

'Great you're all here, I need to tell you guys something' 

We all nodded and took our seats and listened to Nakkia

Then she finally said it 'I'm leaving'

'What?' I said quickly

'I'm moving to America' 

"Why?' I asked sadly

'I've been asked to play a Character in a new tv show coming out soon, and that's something I can't say no to' She said

A tear rolled down my face, I wiped it away. 'Nakkia! That's great! I'm sad you're leaving and a long way away as well but i'm happy for you!' I smiled

We both stood up and gave each other a hug

'Don't worry, I will see you guys when you're all big and famous!' She laughed

We all laughed and we gave eachother a group hug. Everybody was crying and we all looked like a bunch of idiots. Nakkia was my first best friend at this school and I really don't want her to leave, i'm so happy for her though!

It was now the day of the full school assembly and Luke and I were first up. Look was going first, thank goodness, I have never sung in front of a crowd, yes my mum is Katy Perry, but I have never sung infront of so many people, only my Family, Nakkia and the other boys, Jasmine hasn't even heard me sing yet.
