Chapter Nine

DIEGO'S POV

Hand trembling, I opened the letter Rosa gave me earlier in school. School ended hours ago and I was just lying on my bed, thinking and tossing around.

I opened the letter and tears were brimming at my eyes.

Dear Diego,

I have written this letter to you just so you know I don't hate you, and I don't think I ever will. Even though we didn't spend a lot of time together, I know that I love you. I always will. You are my true mate, and will always be my true mate. If there's ever a day where I get a second mate, I will still love you. If you ever get a second mate, I want you to treasure her, and don't let her go. Don't throw away the second chance. Be happy, cause if you are, I will be too. You know I was looking forward to the day where you win me back? And the day where we get married and stuff, guess that's not happening, huh? Such pity, I know you would be a good mate, now you're just lost. I hope whatever choices you make in life, you will be happy with it.

If we are meant to be together, we will meet again and I expect you to woo me properly! I hope that day comes, because I'm not ready to let go and give up on you, us, yet.

Till we meet again.

I cried, not caring I will look like a pussy.

I threw away our chance.

That's right, I will win her back.

I'm not giving up on her.

If there's a will, there's a way.

I will win you back, Rosa Hale, I will.

Even if you have a guy, I will woo you in a fair way.

ROSA'S POV

By now, I bet Diego has read my letter. Now on my bed, I'm crying my eyes out because I lost my mate, and my heart is breaking into pieces.

What am I gonna do?

Wait for Diego,

or move on?

My mind is in a turmoil.

I can't decide.

Finally I made my decision.

I will keep a place for Diego in my heart, but I will move on. Till the day he comes to woo me back. I hope he does. I'm not ready to let him go.

Or I may just not have a relationship at all.

Time check: 9:30 pm.

Time for me to go and shower and sleep. I had a very long day it's so exhausting.

After I took a quick shower, I immediately dove into my bed.

Soon after I fell into a dreamless sleep.

"ROSA, WAKE UPPPPPPPP!!! IT'S 7:20AM AND SCHOOL STARTS AT 8!!!" Randy's annoying voice shouted.

"Ok I'm up." I immediately sat up.

I quickly rushed to the bathroom and took a very quick shower.

After I'm done, I quickly picked out my clothes.

I took out a mint crop top out and ripped light washed high waisted shorts and a black high tops converse.

I left my hair to air dry and taking my bag, I rushed down.

No time to eat.

"FINALLY, YOU SLOW POKE." Randy shouted.

"OK, I GET IT. LET'S GO," I paused, "Cut down on the nagging, will you? Geez." I retorted.

He just rolled his eyes.

We got into his car and off to school.

My slut of a best friend betrayed me, how am I gonna survive school? Oh well, alone I guess.

Nobody better mess with me today.

Very soon, we reached school. I rushed into school, but got stopped by slut Clara. Oh look who's beside her!

Lexi. Bitch.

"Hi slut one and two. How can I be service of you today?" I asked.

"How dare you! Listen, this is my school, I run this place, don't think you can take over my place." Clara snapped.

I laughed.

"Are you listening to yourself? Listen you, my grandfather opened this school, I can bloody hell kick you out of this school when I want."

Her smug smile slid off.

"I-I don't believe you!" She stammered.

"Let's find the principle, shall we?" I said, not caring about being late.

Before she can say anything, I used telekinesis to drag her with me to the principle's office.

I knocked on his door before going in.

"Hi Mr. Branson. Just need to clarify something. My grandfather opened this school, right?" I asked quickly.

He looked shock but replied, "Why, yes."

I turned to Clara, "Is that enough evidence for you? Don't. Mess. With. Me." I then use my magic to throw her against the lockers.

Her scream filled my ears.

"Hey Rosa, can we talk?" Lexi.

"No." Then I threw her against the lockers as well.

Who am I becoming, and I don't like it.

But this is me.
