My Stupid Jerk Mate

Chapter One

I'm Rosarie Hale, Rosa Hale for short.

I'm a werewolf. Yes, a werewolf. 

They say meeting and having your mate is a great thing. It will be the best thing that will happen to you in your entire life. But that is not my case.

You see, my mate rejected me.

And I accepted his rejection.

I'm gonna make him regret, every single moment that he's even born.

Because having your mate to hurt you and feeling the pain of he or she being with others, will make you suffer very painfully. So I'm not going to be like other she-wolves, running away and coming back all skinny and beautiful, not going to do that. I'm staying here and living my life. Also, taking revenge on him. 

This is what happened earlier:

"Hurry up, Rosa!" My lovely brother, Randy bellowed. 

"Okay! Geez, what's got your panties twisted..." I muttered.

"Hey, I heard that!" Randy shouted. I rolled my eyes, even though he won't be able to see it.
After I was done preparing myself, I went downstairs.

"Geez woman, finally!" He sighed dramatically. Now you must be thinking, do we live in a pack house? Nope we don't. Reason being we have our own homes. I love Randy, I can't live without that dork. I will die. (That's deadly true I'm not even lying)

I went to the kitchen counter and take a granola bar before walking to the mirror in the living room.

Hmm, I look okay though. I'm wearing a white and black checked shirt with denim shorts with black high cut converse.

"Hurry, hurry! I want to see Lexi, no, need!" My brother complained.

Lexi is my bestfriend and we're always doing crazy things together. We're totally different though. She's blonde, I'm brunette. She's pretty, I'm dull. She's talkative, I'm reserved.

Wait.

Have I mentioned my brother and Lexi are mates? Nope I didn't. Gross isn't it? Your brother and your best friend. But I don't have a say in it, do I? Since I can't fight fate and fate brought us together.

I rolled my eyes at Randy and he just stucked out his tongue.

"Real mature, Randy," I muttered.

We got into Randy's car and it roared to life before speeding over to Lexi's house. Lexi's house is only three houses down the street so we have slumber parties all the time.

Not long, we reached Lexi's house and guess what, Lexi strutted out of her door all the way till the car. 

Oh god.

"Geez woman, can you not be so dramatic for a day?" I sighed.

"Nope!" She squealed, and came to give me a bear hug, "Oooooh I miss you Rosey."

"You just saw me yesterday," I deadpanned. 

"Hello, am I invisible?" Randy asked in mock hurt.

Lexi laughed, before going to kiss him. Before things get any heated, I interrupted.

"Hi, I'm still here!" I shouted.

Lexi shot me a sheepish grin while my brother shot me a glare jokingly. 

Not long after, we reached our school. Herondale High. 

"How I'm so excited for school, yay." I muttered, unexcited. They both laughed at me.

The three of us got out of the car, and all heads turned to us. Well, Lexi and Randy. I'm just the background.

Lexi came over to link arms with me before walking through. I feel so burned by the gazes already.

"Rose! You need to be confident of who you are, do not be ashamed!" Lexi warned. 

She's right, confidence is key, it's who I am. 

"That's right! Be proud of who you are." She whispered happily, again.

How can she always be so happy? I can never get it.

Today's our Alpha's son 17th birthday, Ashton Black. He's the soon-to-be alpha.

And today he will find his mate, and I'm praying that it will not be me.

Me and Lexi walked to our first class, AP Chemistry. It's gonna be a long day in school.

Ring

Phew, after two hours of torture, it's finally lunch break. Me and Lexi linked arms again, and walked to the cafeteria.

Suddenly, I bumped into a pillar of sparks. Wait... SPARKS!?

Sighing in annoyance, I looked up to be greeted by a pair of annoyed green orbs.

Ashton Black? My mate? You've got to be kidding me. Ashton looked shocked, but was quickly replaced by annoyance and disgust. Besides, he has Clara Kale beside him! She literally was everybody's girlfriend. He grabbed my arm and whispered so lowly that no human can hear, except observant werewolves. 

"You think I will accept you as my mate? You're too pathetic to be my mate," ouch, what a stab to my heart.

"I, Ashton Black reject you Rosa Hale as mate."

Ouch. His words slashed my heart so deeply I could potentially be scarred forever. I struggled to keep my tears in but damn it is hard. 

"I hope you rejecting me will bug you forever," unfortunately my voice gave me out,

"I, Rosa Hale, accept your rejection. Rot in hell, asshole." I hissed.

I saw his eyes flashed with hurt, but quickly replaced it with a blank look. Karma? I think so. 

I saw Clara gave me a smug look.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance, and flipped her the bird.

If you think you, a omega's pup will have a thing on me, you're wrong. Don't. Challenge. Me. I mindlinked Clara in my beta voice.

I saw her eyes flashed with fear before I walked off. 

I heard Randy shouted, "Why'd you do that?"

"She's not fit to be my Luna. She's pathetic. And I'm your alpha, show me some respect!" Ashton boomed, with my heart tearing into pieces that I never thought can be shattered anymore.

I saw Randy eyes getting black by each second.

"NOT FIT? Oh so Clara the omega pup is worthy to be your Luna. Respect? Is earned. Don't expect me to respect you unless you've shown that you're worthy of my respect." Randy said, before walking off. Damn, he's mad. 

Ashton and Randy have been best friends ever since they are young. But now, I think their friendship can't be fixed for a very long time. Ashton looked at me, and we caught eye contact. I  shook my head before running to the bathroom with Lexi trailing behind me.

Once I reached the bathroom, I burst into tears. Lexi hugged me in comfort.

"Why does he not want me?" I asked through my tears.

"He's an asshole," she whispered, "and we're gonna make him pay for what he did." She smirked at me evilly.

"We're gonna make him regret that he's born." Lexi said.

So that's what happened. Ashton's gonna regret ever rejecting me.
