[Her Between The Past And The Future]

Chapter 4

Kirino kicked the ball, making a pass with Kurama then passing it to Hikaru, who tried to pass it also to Nishiki, but got intercepted by Aoyama.

Nishiki and Hikaru went running back, albeit it was too late as Aoyama made a shot towards their goal. Sangoku ran to the side with his hand outstretched to block the upcoming shoot. Just in time, he catched it. "Nice shot." Sangoku smiled.

"Nice catch." Aoyama said back, returning the smile. He turned and started walking back on to his team.

Currently they were having a practice match with Raimon's second team, with Ichino as the captain.

A few moments ago, the Raimon team was having a hard time dividing their members into two groups due to having an only one goalkeeper and decided that they would be practicing individually.

Kirino paired up with Sangoku, planning on discussing about captain duties and at the same time, doing practice. At first, they questioned where Ichino and Aoyama were but left it thinking that they were just fine.

The team's practice came to a halt when they saw the two standing with the rest of the second team members, with Ichino already wearing his own captain band and announced that his team will be helping the Raimon Eleven by playing a practice match.

And here they were, neither team got a first point, but that didn't matter to them for they were just enjoying each other's plays.

"That's a nice match, I hope we can do this more often." Kirino said approvingly. He took his bottle from the bench and slowly drank the water to keep him hydrated.

Ichino agreed with him and also drank on his own bottle. "They did say that they want to help us, so I asked them."

"Say Kirino.." The white haired captain began. "I heard that your class will be having a new transfer student next week."

Kirino stopped midway on what he's doing and looked at him curiously then realizing that he kind of spaced out a little when their teacher announced it. "A-ah yes... " The pinkette muttered. "There's also one at Sangoku-san's class, right?"

Ichino nodded. Having two transfer students in this kind of month sure made it spread like news in the whole school. The students tried questioning one another if the new students were either a boy or a girl or maybe both.

The two didn't go any further at talking about the two transfer students, saying that they will eventually know the answer when next week comes. And they again played another practice match, resulting a tie once again.

Days passed and the awaited day has come where the two transfer students were coming. Kirino's classmates couldn't wait any longer, they kept on talking about their new classmate, who they still didn't know or meet, and they were getting very impatient as 30 minutes had passed after their first period began and no sign of their teacher with the new student coming into their class.

Kirino doesn't mind though, he was just sitting on his seat and was reviewing his notes. Sure he also wanted to meet this new student but he's not going to make a fuss over it because of their teacher being late.

Everyone in the room went silent, curious, Kirino lifted his head from the book and to the front. Their teacher had just came along with the new student.

The new student has a light pink hair that reached her shoulder, her green eyes, that can be compared to as emerald, were shining as she looked at everyone along with her rosy pink lips curved into a smile.

Kirino looked wide eyed at the familiar looking pinkette in front of him. Is that.....

"I am very sorry for being late, class, something just came up but there is no need to worry about it." Their teacher said softly. "And now, this is Tomori Rina, she just came in this town 3 weeks ago, please treat her well."

Tomori...... Rina?

The pink haired defender stared at Rina in wonder. So that's her full name..

"Tomori-san, you can now go and sit at the back next to the window." Rina nodded and answered him with a "Hai!" And started walking to her designated seat.

Just as she sat, their teacher finally started their lesson.

The bell rang, signalling that first period is over. Everyone came dashing at Rina's seat and began bombering her with questions.

Rina couldn't take what they were saying as they were talking at the same time, and just in time, Kirino came to her rescue and shoved her away from the others and dragged her away to their next period, there's no need for them to walk around for finding her classes since the schedule Rina have was also kirino's schedule.

And he knew that because of the tossing of paper they did at their first period. At first, Kirino threw the paper at Rina with the sentence of 'so you're the new student.'

Once Rina received the paper, she rolled her eyes as she read the sentence and wrote something then tossed it back to Kirino. 'already stating the obvious.' Kirino chuckled silently and wrote down his next sentence. The tossing of paper continued and thankfully, their teacher didn't noticed it.

Another bell rang, it was now lunch time, the other students with a growly and hungrily beast inside their stomach came dashing out of the room to go at the cafeteria, while some were staying at their room to eat their lunch or go somewhere else that relax them.

The two pinkette walked side by side to the cafeteria and talked a lot of things. Kirino had found out that Rina has a brother who also transferred with her and was a 3rd year, in which he made an assumption that the new student Sangoku and the other 3rd years has was her brother, well there's no other new student left to think of anyways.

Just as they opened the cafeteria door, Kirino saw his team sitting together and was waiting for him with someone he didn't know.

Walking towards them, they waved at him and waited for the pinkettes to come. When he could finally see the knew person sitting next to Sangoku, Kirino observed him just like he did to Rina when they first met.

When they arrived at the table, Sangoku put his hand in front of the person. "Kirino, I want you to meet Tomori Kaito, he's our new classmate and also plays soccer." Sangoku said happily. "And this is Kirino Ranmaru, a second year and is the captain of the soccer team."

Kirino bowed a little towards the male Tomori in respect and the other did the same.

The pinkette also introduced the other Tomori to his team, and received a shocked expression towards the siblings and got a handful of questions they answered easily.

They finally ate their lunches and was laughing at the story Nishiki told them and the next one was Kurumada, who said that he tripped and got face planted on the floor, that's why he wore a band aid on the bridge of his nose for real this time and not for style.

They went back to their next class before the bell rang and just in time for the lesson to start.

Okay..... I just hope you all enjoyed this chapter. I actually rushed a little because later my family and I will be going somewhere... It's actually 10:50 am here in my country. Just saying tho.
