Hiroto came inside with Fubuki, as he asked the red head if he could join them and the latter agreed. No one talked and there was a no need to because they know it's not the time for such talk right then and there.
Fubuki already heard everything he needed just before they walk inside but there was still something that was unclear in his head, and he needed to see it for himself. They reached the door, it was slightly open as a portion of light was coming out of the room. And when Hiroto already thrust the door open, the room now consist of various apparatuses and wires on the ground connecting to the hologram on the table.
"It actually worked." It was the first words he heard from Endou once they entered the room. Hiroto was suddenly beside the brunette as he stared at the quadrilateral object with shocked eyes, there, it showed a man with white hair, ponytailed and swept to the side, a black glasses, a scar over the left side of his eyes to his left ear, and a smirk very familiar to everyone inside.
"Kageyama." He breathed out.
"It's Kuroiwa Ryuusei now, Kira Hiroto." The man at the screen remarked, not letting his smirk fade from his face. "I'm surprised you would call me so soon, Kidou."
Not that you're even surprised.. Hiroto commented in his head. He kept quiet since he wasn't able to take in what's happening that Kidou's plan actually worked. He and Fubuki, now beside him, only watched silently as the situation in front played out.
"Kageyama," Kidou called out. "Do you know anything about this?" He asked and showed the stone in his hand then the object glinted again. The man at the screen did not answered and his smirk was now gone. Hiroto noticed that the gray haired man beside him shivered at the sight of the stone, like they did earlier. Later, Kageyama opened his mouth.
"Why will you ask a criminal like me to help you with your own matter, Kidou? You stoop so low. You're better than this." Kageyama said with disappointment. However, it's obvious he's faking it and was only mocking the tactician. And yet, Kidou wasn't fazed by the man's insult.
"I'm not asking you, I'm ordering you." Kidou calmly stated. "Kageyama, you can see the power that is hidden inside a person, that's why you chose those eleven players to fight with you, then I'm sure you can see the power in this stone as well. Tell me, do you know of this?" The tactician asked with seriousness and wouldn't take nothing as an answer.
But Kageyama was Kageyama. His former coach at Teikoku, a coach of Demonio's team that played against him and his friends at liocott Island, and now, the one that is helping them to save Earth. The man was very unpredictable in his own ways. A reason for Kidou, as well as the others, to not be able to decide whether he's to be trusted or not and stayed neutral.
The moment of silence was deafening but no person dared to break it. Kidou was already loosing his patience when he still received no answer from him. There's not much time! The power that able to connect them at the Galaxy nauts had only a limited time and they still have a meeting to attend to. With Kageyama taking his sweet time not talking just to annoy them, well, it's working.
Kazemaru gritted his teeth and clenched his fists hardly. The teal haired man was about to yell at the still silent man when a hand grab a hold of his shoulder, letting him calm down and turned at the person to thank them. "Thanks, Endou."
The adult only received a grin from the brunette that assured him it will all end smoothly. Not smoothly as he thought it'd be when Kageyama already opened his mouth. About damn time!
"A place hidden in the horizon, therefore, cannot be in sight. A god where it resides itself in his palace alone.." Kageyama said and the others were quiet. "Honing one's skill in poetry is not that bad, is it not, Kidou? For do not mind the matter." His smirk was once again at his face.
Kazemaru finally loosed it and shouted at the hologram. "Don't play around! We don't have much time for your nonsense!!"
"Hey, calm down." Endou whispered at the angry adult, who only huffed in return but did as told. Every person was staring at the man at the screen as they expect for him to talk and cooperate. But to no avail, Kageyama was only smirking at them.
"You won't be able to find anything, only someone who has the potential to have that can do." That was the last thing they heard from him after the hologram shut close, indicating that it was time and the call had ended.
"We should not have called him. It just resulted to nothing." Kazemaru crossed his arms as he stared at Kidou with one brow raised, as if to point out his sentence. " Now, what are you planning with nothing to gain, Kidou?" He asked.
The man was about to answer back until Gouenji interrupted with his hand on his chin, eyes looking downwards as if he's deep in thought. "I believe we should go now before they get impatient towards us." He said.
"Right." All went to the door and Gouenji was the one only left. He held the knob but stopped midway. A frown appeared on his face.
"A place hidden in the horizon, therefore, cannot be in sight. A god where he resides in his palace alone.." huh?
The white haired man then closed the door and locked it for security safety.
