Q: What's your name/pen name?

A: My pen-name is "tlanextli", a Nahuatl word that means "radiance and splendor"! (ENAMORAMOS)

Q: What's your sign?

A: I'm a Libra (10/19)!

Q: What's something you wish you could shout out to the world right now?

A: Everything is temporary! For me, it's one of the scariest yet most comforting things I can remind myself of. I usually come back to this in times of stress and anxiety. However, how terrible things may seem, or how bad you may be feeling, that feeling is temporary. It's inevitable that things are going to change and you won't feel like this forever. Also, feel your goddamn feelings (but don't let them consume/define you!!). When you actively repress your feelings and constantly try to distract yourself from them, you're hurting yourself and your mental wellbeing. It may seem to work for a bit, but when all of that emotion builds up, it's inevitable that it's going to break something down in you and lead to an explosion of those feelings. You can never get rid of certain temporary feelings if you don't allow yourself to feel them but it's also important to remember to not let an emotion/feeling consume you and take over your life. Everything you feel/do/decide has the power to shape who you are as a person. Feeling your feelings and coping with it the way you do shapes you and your personality, but dwelling on that feeling won't allow you to move on, and therefore won't allow you to grow.

Q: What's your biggest fear?

A: The fear of never being truly loved by anyone, especially romantically. I know the romantic love of a significant other isn't something that should be so important that not having it is my biggest fear, but it is. you can never really know what something thinks about you, and i'm so scared that people who say they love me, only tolerate me. I'm scared that if/when someone says that they love me or are in love with me are only saying that to please me, not because they actually mean it. I think my anxiety and fear of being judged by others definitely plays a part in this. but yeah, this scares the shit out of me oop

Q: What's something toxic you'd like to change about Wattpad?

A: Hmm, maybe all of the books that include really unhealthy romantic tropes. Like, the ones about the textbook-abusive "bad boy" types, things like that. These types of relationships are the most unhealthy, and writing books with these cliches and tropes makes it seem like it's okay for relationships to be like that. Wattpad does cater to a younger audience, and it's worrying to me that these books might be teaching them that it's okay for their partners to treat them in that way.

Q: How do you deal with your vulnerability?

A: I personally don't think vulnerability is a bad thing, as it shows that you're human. However, I feel that people need to earn my vulnerability. If you show me that you won't judge me, that you respect me, and are willing to show me your vulnerability too, then i'll let you in on my vulnerability. I don't really "deal" with vulnerability; on the contrary, I embrace it in myself as well as others.

Q: What do you believe in?

A: I believe that everything happens for a reason. No matter how terrible it might be, just a single event can lead you to grow in ways that you weren't able to before.

Q: What's something considered uninteresting by friends/family that you enjoy/find intriguing?

A: I love just nature in general, but I really enjoy just basking in it and allowing it to calm me down. My friends/family are definitely more the type to rather be physically doing something more than just sitting around in the grass, but i'm just so in love with marveling at the natural world around me.
