Q: What's your name/pen name?

A: Alexis.

Q: What's your sign?

A: Capricorn!

Q: What's something you wish you could shout out to the world right now?

A: Stop sounding so fucking sad.

Q: What's something toxic you'd like to change about Wattpad?/dislike about Wattpad?

A: Incorrect usage of mental illness to gain attention. If I had a dollar for every time someone self-diagnosed themselves with ‘depression’ or ‘anxiety’, I’d be rolling in cash in no time. “Guys I’m so depressed today.” “Guess who just got a panic attack, hahah fun.” Please shut the fuck up. It is perfectly normal to desire for comfort when feeling down, but to make use of mental illness for sympathy? That’s not okay.

Q: How do you deal with vulnerability?

A: Suppress it until you’re able to embrace it. The moment you are met in your deepest pain, is the moment true healing starts.

Q: What do you believe in?

A: Dragons, simplicity, and that history repeats itself.

Q: What are your thoughts on the LGBTQIA+ community? (requested question)

A: I think people should just stop forcing their opinions on each other and learn to mind their own business.

Q: What's something considered uninteresting by friends/family that you enjoy/find intriguing?

A: Pineapple on my pizza. Do people find history uninteresting? If not, nothing much, really. I’m pretty basic.

Q: How did you know someone loved you/you loved them? (in a type of relationship,  for example, family or friends)

A: Mutual raw honesty.

Q: Where's creativity's place in your life? (ex. art, writing, everything, etc.)

A: I take a lot of pride in my writing, so it’s pretty much my entire life.

Q: What's the scariest thing you've done that was totally worth it?

A: Getting off that ledge.

Q: What's something you've done in the past you definitely wouldn't do now?

A: Forcing myself to change in order to fit in.

Q: how do you deal with your insecurities?

A: Avoid them until you can’t anymore. Personally, it’s all about movement. You either run away from the problem or face it upfront. As long as you’re moving.

Q: What kind of music are you into?

A: A lot of alternative and— not going to deny it— pop music. Examples would include Wallows, Cavetown and Charlie Burg.

Q: What's a hobby/person that makes you purely happy just by the thought of it/them

A: Hobby— having the opportunity to take an afternoon nap or visit a museum. Person— my girlfriend I guess? No, I know for sure.

Q: What's something you'd like to change about your current self?

A: I guess I’d prefer to be more light-hearted, and less— intimidating?

Q: What's been your greatest accomplishment to date?

A: Finally dropping fake friends and accepting who I am.
