Jay's POV
10:45 P.M
"I cannot believe this nigga just put his hands on a female". I thought to myself on the drive back to my crib. I'm rushing to get back to my place so i can calm Kelsey down from crying and get her in safe hands. I pull up outside of my crib and get out. I walk around to Kelsey's side and help her out. I walk her up the steps and into my room i sit her on the bed while i get her a cold washcloth to sit on her face and some water to drink.
Me: "You okay?"
Kelsey: "Yes it just hurts."
Me: "I know and i'm right here. Tell your peeps that you spending the night here. I wanna make sure you aight."
Kelsey: "okay"
She pulls out her phone and text one of her relatives.
Me: "can I ask you something if you don't mind?"
Kelsey: "Yeah"
Me: " Is he the reason why you always comes to school with all those marks and bruises?"
She looks me in the eyes and breaks down in tears. I gently pull her up, sit in the place where she was sitting, and put her on my lap and hold her.
Me: "Princess look at me...I gotchu now and I will never hurt you."
I slightly turn her head where she looks me in the eyes.I lean in and give her a peck on the lips. She wraps her arms around me and squeezes me tight and cries on my shoulder. I get up and lay her on the bed. I walk down to the kitchen to get us some snacks and a soda. By the time i come back up she's sound asleep. I put the chips on the dresser and grab my car keys. Since she's staying the night i figured that she doesn't have a change of clothes. I run to Walmart to get her a pair of sweatpants and a spongebob t-shirt to make her smile a little. I don't know what size underwear she is so i just get her a pack of boxers. (I could use some myself) I grabbed her a sports bra too and Dove soap so she can take a shower. I will do anything for that girl.
