Chapter 4: Text Messages

Jay's POV

All i could do was think i about Spanish class. "Man she has a beautiful smile😍." I think to myself as I'm driving to work. Maybe i should text her on my break or FaceTime her. As I pull up to footlocker i see my boss.

Mr. Mike: "good afternoon Jaylin. How was your day today?"
Me: " it was cool i guess. You know the usual."
Mr. Mike: "good. Well there's really nothing much for you to do today so take the day off but still sign in so you can get your pay"
Me: "ard bet. Thanks"

Mr. Mike is one of the coolest guys i know. I mean I've worked for him for about 3 years so i guess you can say i know how the man operates. I head back to my car and drive home. I still can't get the thought of Kelsey off of my mind. You see the thing is if i were to ever be in a relationship with Kelsey i don't know how i would do it. Every time Asia texts me i always take her back. Asia is my first love. We were together for 4 years. Things didn't work out so we had to go our separate ways but i still love that girl and she still loves me. I arrive at my apartment. I take my shoes off and change in to a tank top and a pair of Nike shorts. Kelsey never leaves my mind so i figured that i would text her.

Me: "wassup ma"
As soon as i sent the message to Kelsey guess who text me🤦‍♀️; Asia

Asia: "Heyy daddy😏"
Me: "Asia what do you want"
Asia: " I want to talk to you about something"
Me: "Asia if you just gonna waste my time you can forget about it"
Asia: "Jay hear me out. I really love you and I know we didn't end on such a good note but i really want you back in my life. You treated me like a princess and no one else can give me what you gave me"

DAMNNN!!! See this is why i always fall for this girl

Me: "Asia i mean... We can mess around but I'm not really interested in a relationship right now"
Asia: "can i come over later?"
Me: "yeah"
