Chapter 23

   Jess Pov

I drag my leg behind me, trying to get to jenny as fast as i could."Jenny, Jenny"" I repeat in my head.Tears rush down my cheeks, turning into the the room where jenny was. I slowly make my way to her as i groan in pain. My body wasn't healing fast enough."jenny" I say out loud. Her body lay lifeless. Tears pour down my face as i fall to my knees turning Jenny's body over. her eyes were closed, she had the biggest smile on his face that i have ever seen."Jenny" I choke on her name as i lay my head on her pulling her lifeless body into my chest."I'm sorry that he did this to you" I wrap her body up her jacket she had with her. I stand up, grabbing her phone, dialing 911,I drop the phone, exiting the building. I could hear the sirens a mile a way. I sigh getting into my car, driving off, crying slightly to myself. The cops pass me as I was driving by. I wipe the tears away as my bleeding gets faster. 

I sigh parking my car at the hotel. I get out of my car, cleaning myself up as much as i could. I walk inside of the hotel."Are you okay miss" I look to the desk to see the manager. I smile nodding to him. I walk to my room. I open the door to see Derek still sleeping."Heavy sleeper" I slide in the bed, still bleeding. I drift in and out as i finally fall asleep next to Derek.

                                                                                  Derek's Pov

I felt something wet on my hand. My eyes open as i look at Jess. Blood was all over her and the bed sheets. I shake her.'Jess, Jess wake up" She opens one of her eyes"Huh" I slap her.'GET UP" Her body shoots up."What" She looks down as her eyes widen."Hmm, its not what you think" I get up, pulling the blanket off of her."Not what i think. WHAT HAPPEN JESS" Jess looks away from me. I walk over to her bedside, ripping her clothes off.She had some bruises that were still not healed."Jess, look at me" She looks up at me, with tears in her eyes."What happened." She sighs."I killed him" She lets the tears go.'Killed who"

"Jack" I look down at her as tears fall from her face."Jenny" She says. I grab a hold of her, holding her in my arms. She wraps her arms around my neck."She dead because of me." She says in my neck. I pull her away."what" She looks up into my eyes>'Jack killed her right in front of me, I thought i took care of him, but when i untied her, she pushed me out of the way and she was shot three times." She hiccups as she cries harder."I....I....couldn't save her...S....he......s..he..smiled at me...when she was being shot' She tries to calm down. I rub her back slowly in circles."its okay Jess" I pull her into my arms as i let her cry into my neck."Its going to be okay" I rub her back still as i pick her up, laying her on the bed. I walk over to our bags, pulling out a long sleeve gray shirt, and a gray pair on pants. I walk back over to her as i help her get dressed( "We need to return to home"

"I need to do something first" Derek looks at me."what" I pick myself up, grabbing my bag, putting in on my back."I want to go to the hospital" I look at him as he nods. We clean the place up from all the blood, as we walk back to the car. I get into the drivers place. I drive to the hospital, walking inside. I walk to the dress."Did a Jenny check in here" The nurse looks up at me and sighs."Room 202" I nod walking to the the room. I look through the window. As I sigh placing my hand on the glass looking at the cover over Jenny's body."Jenny I'm so sorry" I look down letting the tears go."I didn't know this would happen" A hand was placed on my shoulder. I look behind me to see no one. I look back at jenny's body and smiles."Good bye Jenny, I hope you and My aunt can rest in peace" I walk out of the hospital,getting in the car. Derek takes my hand."Are you going to be okay" I nod driving us back home.
