Chapter 27

    Jess Pov

Derek takes us to my mothers house. I sigh opening the door."Wait" I turn my head to Derek.'What" He smiles, getting  out of the drivers seat, crossing the car over to my side. He helps me out of the car. I wrap my arms around his neck, as he lifts me out of the car. I smile, at him placing me down on my feet."Wow" He smiles."Wow what?" I slap his arm."I didn't know you were that gentle."Emily and Ciara get out of the car. Emily grabs ahold of Derek's leg. He smiles, walking with his hand in mine, walking to the door.Ciara rushes in the door. I rub my head as Emily holds on tight her fathers leg. I walk in the door only to be tackled into a hug by Scott."Oof, God, Scott what have you been eating" Scott laughs looking down at my stomach.'Wow" I shake my head walking over to my mom. I turn slightly to Scott."Don't you dare get any ideas you hear me Mister"I hug my mother."

Jess your coming along perfectly." She places her hands on my stomach.I smile as the babies kick."Twins" She looks up at me confused."Twins? I smile."I'm having twins." I heard a thud. I look past to see Scott had fallen.I laugh while i hold my mouth."Wow Scott. is it that shocking." He picks himself up off the ground walking away. I smile, Derek hugs my mother as we go into the dinning room. I sit down holding my stomach.Derek sits right by me."So are you two planning on getting married" I look at derek then to my mother."We haven't really talked about that, So no for right now." My mother looks at both of us."Is there something that is going on between you two" I smile."No" I lie,"If only you knew" I say in my head. She smiles."Okay"

Emily climbs onto her fathers lap as Scott was wrestling with Ciara."Those two." I chuckle. Emily grabs ahold of Derek's beard. He smiles bouncing her on his knee.I chuckle as My mother Clears her throat."So did Ciara tell you" I look over to her.'About what" My mother smiles."Her flute concert" I look over to Ciara."Ciara come here" She looks up at me while on Scott. She gets off of him walking over to where me Derek, My mother and I were sitting."Yes" She asked."When were you going to tell me you were going to do a flute concert" She swifted her feet, sighing."I wasn't going to do it" My mother gasp, I look over to her.'Why, you told me you were really excited"Ciara rubs her back of her neck."Well i can change my mind can't I" I look at Ciara.

"Tell us the Truth Ciara." She shakes her head."I'm not doing it, sorry" She turns her back to us. I grab her turning her around."Ciara, don't you dare talk to us like that again" Ciara eyes grow Grimm like Jack's eyes were."You aren't my mother...."She trails off. I growl raising my arm slapping her across her face."YOUR MOTHER GAVE YOU TO ME WHEN SHE DIED, SHE COULD HAVE PUT YOU UP FOR A ADOPTION, BE HAPPY!" I scream at her. I get up walking to the front door. I clench my hands shut tight."That ungrateful brat.

I walk off the porch."Jess where are you going" I look behind me to see Derek with Emily on his hip."I'm going for a walk" Derek signs deeply.'Do you want help" I turn myself back aroudn facing the street."No I don't want help or Need help from anyone right now" I walk away, I had one hand on my stomach and one of my back. I look around the wods sighing remembering the old days. I walk past a few tree, looking at a cliff. I clear a patch of leafs away from a tree stump. I sit down looking out to the moutians.

I take in a long breathe."Why is a pretty girl staying all the way out here, alone" My head snaps to the voice of who said that. My eyes widen to see a teen about Scott's age."Who are you" The boy smirks."Matt. I narrow my eyes."What do you want" He smiles."Oh i was just walking around in the woods, looking for something and i found you" I narrow my eyes slowly getting up."I have to go" I walk pass him.'Wait, can i get your name." I turn my head to him."Sorry i dont have a name, iam just a ghost your seeing" I smirk looking at his confused face. I walk back to the house. Derek was sitting on the steps talking on his cell phone. i stop infront of him as he hangs his phone up."Babe, I have to leave, something came up." 

I look at him and nod. I walk right past him. As i get to the front door."Jess, are you okay" I look from where i was looking to look at him."Yeah, just perfect." Derek grabs me before i could grab the handle to the front door. I growl."Jes, she didn't mean it" I push him away."Yeah, side with that brat, why don't you" I growl. Derek pulls me into a hug."Calm down baby, she really didn't mean it" I push him away."Hm" I kiss him."See ya" I walk back into the house. Ciara had her head down, she was sitting on the couch looking at her nails. I walk past her, not saying a word to her."Sorry about that mom" She smiles."Its okay" I sit back down

."We are about to leave, so i talk to you later tonight or tommorrow morning." She nods, i get back up to hug her.I walk past Ciara and Emily."Lets go" I walk out of the front door, walking to the car, I get into the drivers seat, waiting for them. They get in. I look at them through my front mirror. Emily was drumming her fingers on the dirvers seat, and Ciaras eyes were still looking at the ground. I roll my eyes, like i cared. I start the car, driving to our house. I park the car. They get out , walking behind me. I unlock the door, walking in the house. I see a dark shadow out of the corner of my eye. My eyes widen."RUN YOU...TWO" Something or someone hits hard against my neck, sending me to the floor, passing out. All i heard last was Ciara and Emily screamng.
