Attack

--Steven's P.O.V.--

I was doing my duty, checking the edge of the city for 'trespassers.' As long as we have this wall up, we should be fine. I hope. I walked and walked, but nothing. That's good. I went back to the house, and I saw Lapis sitting on the shore. She sits there when she's sad. I walked up to her and said, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm, okay. How about you?" Lapis said. I knew that she was lying.

"Are you shore?" Please don't get mad at my pun. Pl-

Lapis started to laugh, "Am I shore that I'm okay? I am, okay. But, are you glad to sea me."

I started to laugh. "Haha! Lapis do you want to go inside?"

"Sure," Lapis said before getting up and walking inside the house.

As walked inside we saw Peridot trying to 'improve' her limb enhancers. "Hi, Steven. Hi, Lapis," Peridot said when she saw us.

"Hi, Peridot," I said. Lapis just waved. "How are you doing today?"

"Good. You?"

"I'm good. Peridot, don't forget to b-"

"Be ready for an attack. I know that."

"Okay, good. Bye, Peridot," I said and Peridot waved bye.

I went to my door typing in the password. 2014. The door opened and I layed on my bed for a few minutes, before the alarm started to go off. Why?

The Gems and I ran outside, and we heard yells from the people. They were yelling, "Attack! There's an attack! Everyone get somewhere safe!" The people ran while the warriors, us the Gems, stayed to fight.

We saw 3 amethysts, 1 topaz, and a fusion of 3 rubies jumping over the wall. "Brace yourselves!" Garnett yelled. We raised our weapons and started to run towards the gems.

A topaz ran behind Connie, so I ran towards her and deflected the attack with my shield. Connie saw and poofed it. An amethyst ran towards Garnett, but Garnett punch it, and it hit a rock, poofing it. The fusion ran towards me and Connie, we knew that we couldn take it down. Connie ran towards me, jumping off my shield, landed on the fusion's head. The fusion tried to grab her, but then Amethyst ran and tied up its legs. The fusion fell, making it an easy target to attack. Pearl, Connie, and I poofed the fusion together. The gems sat there, so Pearl picked them up and used the device to bubble them, so they won't regenerate. The 2 amethysts fused, and they punched Jasper's face, but she got up and rammed her head against their stomach. Bismuth came and slashed it arm. Lapis held it with the water, while Pearl ending it with a quick stab in it's head.

"Good, job everyone," I said while walking toward the poofed gems and using the device to bubble them. Everyone else did the same. We bubbled the 7 gems and sent them to the house.

"You know what this calls for? A party!" Amethyst said.

"Really, Amethyst? You know tha-"

"But, Pearl when was the last time you had fun?" I said.

"Ugh. Fine. We could have a party," Pearl said in defeat.

"Yeah! We're going to have a party!" Jasper yelled while giving Amethyst a low-five.

"Should we tell everyone, or..." Bismuth started saying.

"Naw. It could just be the 11 of us," Amethyst said.

"Jasper are you, okay?" I said.

"Yeah. What makes you think that?" Jasper said.

"Well, you did get punched, but if you say so," I said while walking away.

"... I am, okay!" Jasper yelled. Heh.

When I walked inside I saw Ruby and Sapphire cooking. "What are you coking, Rubs?" I asked.

"I'm cooking cake. Laughfy Sappy, is cooking, what was it called again?"

"Pizza, Ruby," Sapphire said.

"Sorry, it has been so long since we've eaten pizza," Ruby said.

"It is okay, Ruby."

I walked out of the kitchen, and to the living room. I saw Peridot without her limb enhancers, Pearl cleaning up a bit, Lapis 'reading,' Jasper talking to Bismuth, and Amethyst talking to Garnett. I saw Connie reading Fimilar Unfamiliar. I walked toward Connie and asked, "How are you?"

"Good," Connie said. I saw some blood dripping down her cloak.

"Are you injured?"

"What? No. Not that I think so."

"Show me your arm," I said she did so. "Your bleeding, Connie."

"I didn't know that," Connie said. I told her that it was going to feel weird. "Okay, I'm ready." I licked my hand and put it on her arm. Her arm healed in a few seconds, "Thank you, Steven."

"You're  welcome," I said, "but you need to wash your cloak and arm now."

"Will, do," she got up and went outside to wash her arm and cloak.

"Okay, anyone else hurt?" I asked.

"No," everyone said.

"Okay, that's good then."
