Heal

--Sapphire's P.O.V.--

I knew that something wasn't right, so I tell Steven, "Steven we should go back to the house right now, don't ask why."

"Why?" Steven questioned. I gave him what-did-I-just-tell-you look. "Sorry. Sorry. Okay, let's go back then."

We headed back and saw Amethyst with another gem there. "Yo," Amethyst said.

Ruby took out her weapon and asked, "Who is that?! An enemy?!"

"No, Rubs. This is Tiger. Her comrade got cracked, so I sent her here, and I was wondering if to Steven could heal her," Amethyst said, but Ruby still had her weapon out.

"Sigh. Sure, but where is she?" Steven asked.

"Well, she's here. But in a bubble!" Amethyst quickly said.

Steven walked into the Temple and went into the bubble room.

--Steven's P.O.V.--

I popped the bubble and saw the gem reform, in a glitchy form. She coughed  and looked at me with sad looking eyes. "If you're here to end me... go ahead then..." the emerald said.

"I'm here to help you," I told her. I examined her badly, cracked gem, and saw the bullet shot. I licked my hand and told her that it was going to feel weird, then placed it on her gem.

It didn't work. Why isn't working?! I repeated the process over and over again, but nothing.

"You could leave me you know... I don't rea- really matter anyways..." the emerald said.

"No. I'm not going to leave you... I'm. Not," I said while tears running down my face. "You're not going to end like this..." I held her close to me, crying.

~ 3 minutes later ~

I saw her gem starting to heal, her gem's pieces forming back together.

She looked up to me and started to say, "Thank you... I don't know how I could ever repay you. Human?"

"Steven, "I said wiping my tears away," and you don't have to repay me."

"Thank you," Emerald said.

"Aww, you're welcome!"

She froze in place then asked, "Where's Tiger? Are you humans even okay with me?"

"She's inside the house, it's going to be okay, and I'm sure the humans will be okay with you."

She inhaled and exhaled. "Sorry, for how I act. I act in many weird ways, unlike the others."

"It's okay, Emerald..." I told her. Others? Mabey gems.

We walked out of the bubble room amd meet the rest in the living room. "Hiya!" I greeted. Everyone said hi back, but Ruby stayed stiff.

"Calm down, Ruby," Sapphire said.

"I don't know. I can't trust them... Remember the rubies? How they came here, and started to look for a jasper. What happens if she pulls a Navy? Then what?!" Ruby said.

"We could trust them," I said. "Just like we trust Topaz!" Topaz turned her head to me, when she heard her name.

"You have a heart, big enough to trust everyone, Steven," Garnett said. "That's why your last name is Universe. You love and protect everything." (This is not real. His name does not mean that).

"Thank you, Garnyeet," I said, knowing that she hates it.

"Steven..." Garnett said in a stern tone.

"I know. I know. Sorry," I said. I looked at the gems and they looked happy to be reunited. They were talking and even laughing. At least they're happy...

Everyone said goodnight, and went to their rooms.
