A War Between Two

A Plan

--Steven's P.O.V.--

I woke up thinking, I think I know how to make the Diamonds to stop this war. I walked out of the house and saw Topaz still there. "Hi, *yawn* Topaz," I said while walking to the kitchen.

"Oh, hi, Steven," Topaz said. "I have a question."

"Fire away," I said while grabbing a bowl.

"What is this 'sleeping' you call, and how do you sleep?"

"Well, sleeping is when us humans, close our eyes and not think at all. But first we have to get comfortable."

"... Show me."

"Okay," I said. I put down the bowl and walked to the spare bed there. I got comfortable, shutted me eyes, and dozed off.

When I woke up, I saw Topaz watching me. In my reaction, I slapped her with a pillow. "Ow. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Topaz said.

"Just don't do that, okay? I don't want another Pearl," I mumbled the last part.

I went back in the kitchen and ate some cereal. By the time I was finished, the Gems came out of there rooms. "Hey, guys!"

"Hello, Steven," Garnett said. "Get ready we are going to have another attack at 10'o clock sharp."

"Okay. I have a plan, in how to stop the diamonds."

"Really?" Pearl said.

"Yeah."

"Well explain away," Amethyst said.

"We would have to travel to their base that's on here; Earth. We would have to negotiate with them, of course. Ask them, or fight, to send their warriors back, and stop there geo-weapon, if they have one. And-"

"How long did you had this planned out?" Jasper asked.

"Months, really. And of they say no, then... We'll make them."

"That sounds really planned out," Lapis said.

"If they ask us to hand over gems, we will. Unless the gems want to stay."

"So on the mean time, what will we do?" Sapphire asked.

"We'll get prepared, of course. We'll need our weapons, amulets, food, water, and each other," I said.

"Okay. That will take us about 2 to 4 days to prepare," Pearl said.

"Okay, then let's start preparing."

"We'll gather the water," Lapis said. "Pearl, Peridot, and Topaz."

"We'll gather the food," Garnett said. "Jasper, Bismuth, and Amethyst."

"We'll gather more weapons and and armor," I said. "Connie, Ruby, and Sapphire."

"Okay, sounds good. Break!" Ruby yelled.

--Bismuth's P.O.V.--

"Okay, so y'all ready to get over the wall?" I asked.

Garnett gave and nod and a thumbs up, Jasper and Amethyst said, "Always."

We asked the Mrs. Miller to open the gate, and she did so. We walked out and told her to close it, "Okay let's get a move on," Garnett said.

We walked about 3 miles, and found a gas station. I gave them a signal to peek, we all peeked and found no one. We walked inside and found some food which were, a jar of dill pickles, 27 cans of Spam, 9 water bottles, bags of Chaaaps, and 1 bar of chocolate. "Should we go back and put them away, then continue?" Amethyst asked.

"All who agree say 'ay,' who oppose say 'nay,'" Garnett said.

All of us said ay. "Okay then, let's go back."

We started to walk back.

--Topaz's P.O.V.--

We walked crossed the wall, but the human who opened it gave me a terrifying stare. When we got over, Pearl said, "Okay, we'll start looking for water, alright?"

"Okay," Peridot and Lapis said.

"S-sure," I said.

We walked about a mile, before running into the food gathers. Everyone walked pass without a word or even a gesture! We walk 5 more miles, then everyone started to get tired. "H-how are you st-still walking Topaz," Pearl asked.

"Be-because her gem produces all of the energy for her," Peridot said.

"Ahh. Makes sense. I guess," Lapis said.

We kept walking before taking a rest. "It's starting to get dark," Pearl announced.

"No, dur," Lapis said sarcastically.

"Hmm. Hey, Topaz?" Pearl said.

"Yes?"

"Could you watch over, while we sleep?" Pearl asked.

"Sure," I said.

They went to bed, then someone woke up. "... Those stinkin' gems..."

"'Stinkin' gems?'" I said.

"Oh, sorry, Topaz," she said then I saw her face in the fire.

"Why did you woke up all of a sudden?"

"It's because I had a nightmare," Lapis said.

"A nightmare?"

"It's where a human has a dream that scares them, so they sometimes wake up."

"Okay," I said with understandment. "So what was this nightmare of yours?"

"Umm... Could I not tell you?" Lapis said.

"... Sure." She went back to bed, while I kept watch.

--Ruby's P.O.V.--

We were gathering weapons from the city folks, and most said, 'sure,' others said, 'but what if we have an attack?' But, we're the only ones who protect you!  "I think that we will have to go out of the city for armor," Connie said.

"But, shouldn't we wait till daylight?" I asked.

"True. Okay we'll go first thing in the morning, got that?"

"Yeah!" we all shouted.

🌗 Nighttime 🌓

Everyone was asleep, while I was awake. I was about to fall asleep, until I heard the door open. I took out my gauntlet and someone said, "Rubs! It's just us." she screamed whisper.

"Bismuth?" I asked. I shunned a light at her, and saw that it was her. "You guys came back?" We walked outside so we could talk.

"We came back, because we found food and we were going to leave it here," Garnett said.

"Hm. Did you guys had any encounter with anyone?" I asked.

"Well, we saw Lapis and the others," Jasper said.

"Okay. You guys should get some sleep though. You look exhausted."

"No. We look amazing," Jasper said.

Garnett just went to the spare bed, and landed face first in it. "Fine..." Jasper said. They went to their rooms and slept. I went after them and slept, too.
