"Son, go take care of Cassian and I place the lasagna in the oven," dad tells me as he shoos me out of the kitchen with a smile.

Smiling at him before I head upstairs to take Cass to the bathroom to potty and change his pullup if he's wet. Potty training isn't as difficult as I thought it would be but it is a slow and steady process but it isn't progressing as well as I would like it.

"Hi Cassian, did you have a nice nap?" I ask my son as soon as I enter his bedroom. He's sitting cross legged on his bed rubbing his right eye with his chubby right and soon as I enter and spoke to him he lifts his left arm up toward me, silently asking to be picked up.

"Papa," Cassian whimpers as I pick him up and he tucks his face against my neck causing a smile to spread across my lips.

"I know buddy, it's hard first waking up," I whisper into his hair as I rub his back, heading toward the bathroom across the hall from his room. Gently placing him on his feet, telling him softly, "Cass, try to potty alright?"

Cassian nods as he pulls his pants down as he tries; after a several minutes he goes and then I help him pull his pullup and pants back up before helping him stand on the stepstool so he can wash his hands. Once he's done, he instantly wants me to pick him back up which I do happily, taking us back downstairs to where my dad and brothers are.

"Guess who is here, Cassian?" He looks at me unamused, yup, he is definitly my son, not amsused until he wakes up. "Granpa, uncle Hadley and uncle Harper are here and going to have dinner with us!" I cheer happily stepping off the last step and bouncing him gently with a smile as he smirks a little at me before lying his head on my shoulder and snuggles into me as he sucks his thumb again.

"Hi Cassian," dad whispers as he runs a soft hand through my baby's hair knowing how Cass is when he first wakes.

"Papa," Cass whines at me as he tightens his hold on my neck as dad walks toward the living room where my little brothers are playing with legos again.

"Yes baby boy?" I softly asks as I tighten my hold on him as we walk into the living room and sit on the floor next to my brothers and dad.

Cassian doesn't say anything as we sit and watch the three of them play, talking to each other, giving Cassian time to wake up properly. After ten minutes of watching them play, Cass climbs off my lap slowly, making his way to his granpa, who he sits himself in dad's lap where he snuggles into my dad's chest.

Dad quietly rubs small circles on Cassian's back without a word. "Granpa?" Cass whispers against my dad's chest as he wraps his little arms around my dad's neck.

"Yes Cassian?" dad asks him as he lifts him up and holding onto him better before he kisses my son's blond hair.

"Luve yoo," Cassian mumbles into my dad's chest before bringing down his left arm and sucks his thumb. Mm, might have to start breaking that habit soon.

"Love you too, buddy," dad whispers kissing the top of his head with a smile.

Forty-minutes later the timer on the stove dings, alerting us that dinner is done. Standing off the floor, I enter the kitchen to turn off the timer and the oven before pulling the pan out with pot holders and place it on two other pot holders before cutting it and placing pieces on plates to cool slightly.

"Boys, how was play practice today and did you have fun with Hayden and Cassian?" dad asks my younger brothers as we are sitting on the table eating.

Hadley and Harper nod excitidly as they eat and tell him about play practice, their parts and what we had done this morning and afternoon until we arrived back at home.
