The next morning I wake to my alarm, a.k.a. Cassian hollering from his bed even though he can climb out he won't. Tossing the covers off of me, standing and stretching I quickly walk into Cass' room to pick him up to help him use the potty. Once he's done, I change his pullup since it is dirty before we wash our hands and head downstairs to have breakfast.

"So Cass are we having pancakes or oatmeal for breakfast?" I ask bouncing him gently with a smile that he returns, snuggling into my chest.

"Panicakes," he mumbles into my chest as he tightens his hold on me.

"Panicakes it is," I can't help but tickle his tummy as I say this; his giggle loud as he throws his head back squirming in my hold.

"Papa!" Cassian giggles loudly still trying to squirm from my fingers.

Laughing, I stop as I place him in his highchair with some toys to keep him occupied as I make breakfast of pancakes and egss. Finally finshed making breakfast about ten minutes later, I cut Cassian's pankcakes before scooping scrambled eggs onto his plate, allowing it to cool before allowing him to have it. Once I've placed my food on my plate, I grab his and mine, joining him at the table.

"Here you go baby boy," I say to him with a smile as I place his plate on the tray of his highchair and sit next to him.

Giggling Cass takes his fork to stab a piece of pancake, quickly eating; smiling at my boy, he loves his food what can I say, he takes after his papa. "You are a sticky boy," I giggle as I take him out of his tray and glancing at the time; I have time to allow him to play in the bathtub before we have to leave to meet Tristan at the cafe'.

"You need a bath little man," I say as we climb the stairs his chubby hand in mine. Cass giggles as he pokes his sticky chin with an equally sticky finger; laughing at his curious face, we enter the bathroom. Running warm water in the tub as I strip him from his semi-sticky clothes. I need to do laundry tomorrow, I think as I toss his sticky clothes off to the side.

After Cassian plays in the tub for a while, I wash him before rinsing him and then dry him off, leaving him wrapped in the towel to carry him into his nursery to dress him for our meeting with Tristan.

Sighing as I help Cass pull his long sleeve purple shirt over his head and down his body; I'm scared about this meeting, I know it needs to happen but I'm worried his mom is going to show up and cause an issue.

"Want to go out for lunch, Cassian?" I ask him as I help him pull on his socks and shoes.

His head snaps up with his eyes wide and mouth hanging open; we don't go to lunch out very often. Nodding his head quickly like a bobble head his shouts, "Yes!"

Giggling at his enthusasim, I hold my hands out to him and he jumps, having me catch him and bring him to my right hip. As he wraps my hands around my neck, I say, "Then lets go baby boy. We're going to meet someone there okay?"

Cassian nods as he begins to play with my hair at the back of my head as he sucks his left thumb. Walking to the front door, I grab his coat and mine, helping him put his on before I place mine on. Walking out of the house, I lock it before walking us to my Jeep and placing my son in his car seat and buckeling him before settling my in the drivers seat and we're heading out toward the cafe' in town.

Arriving ten minutes later noticing as I look inside the cafe', Tristan is alread seated at a table with a cup of coffee in front of him. Sighing to myself, before I take a deep breath and climb out of the vehicle and taking Cass from his car seat and heading inside.

As I push the door open the bell above the door rings causing Tristan to look up and smile when he sees up. Mustering the best smile I can as we walk over to him and take a seat across from him.
