Sequel to Hayden's Hope
Hayden West is raising his son alone, not because Cassian's other dad, Tristan doesn't want him...he doesn't know Cassian exsists.
Two years have passed since I had informed Cassian of Tristan's true identity. In that time Tristan has held true to being in our son's life and their relationship has grown considerably; we have worked up to Cassian spending two weekends a month with Tristan with the understanding that Trisha has no say or control over our son or the time they spend together. Cassian still calls him Daddy T. Tristan is dating a man, Sam, who he asked if I was alright with him introducing to Cass about two months ago and I said that was fine as long as he felt that Sam was going to be around for a long time.
Adam and I are still together and are actually engaged; Adam proposed to me six months ago and we are planning on marrying in six months - on July 22, 2023. Adam and I have two sons together; Arrow Tatum who is 1 year old and Hunter Jaxson, who is six months old. Arrow and Hunter are almost carbon copies of Cassian, that it's scary that my DNA is that dominate. When Adam and I marry in six months, Cass is going to be our ring bearer along with Arrow and Hunter; who Cassian is pulling in a wagon down the aisle.
Dad has found himself a girlfriend, Sunny, and she truly does reflect her names; she is such a bright and happy woman, always laughing and smiling and treats my dad like he is the most precious person on the planet and she just adores my 11 year old brothers as well as my three boys and Adam. She and I started off rocky becuase I had a hard time seeing another woman in the home where my mother lived; I know that is selfish of me after all dad has done for me and Cassian and my brothers but over time and after Adam spoke with me I realized that dad deserved to be happy and mom would want him to move on.
Cassian started 4 year old preschool this year and he loves learning new things and making friends. The teacher tells me that he is a bright child and a joy to have in class that she will be sad when the year ends and he moves onto kindergarten; I don't want to think of my oldest baby boy being another year older because that means my other two little babies are another year older.
I graduated college a year ago with my degree in photography and journalism and have been working as a freelance journalist and photographer since and I do well. I also do a fair amount of photography for individuals who hire me for events and family photos. Adam has also graduated college and been hired into his field of criminal justice and he loves his job.
Hadley and Harper are now 11 years old and Hadley is still as shy as ever but is slowly coming out of his shell more and more with the help of all of us and his friends as well as Harper's friends and the plays that they continue to perform in for school and the play house. I have a feeling that the boys might become actors or something in that line of work when they are older.

Oh, did I forget to mention that I am currently three months pregnant? Well, surprise, I am! Secretly I would love to have a little girl to complete our little family but I know that I will be just as happy with another boy and I believe that Adam is the same but only time will tell when Adam and I go for the ultrasound that will tell us what our littlest peanut is going to be.
