A new morning dawns in Quantico, Virginia as the BAU team all walk in chatting about their weekends.

"Henry had a great time playing Cowboys yesterday with Will," JJ said while showing Garcia the video she took of her son playing around.

Garcia squeals in cuteness, "Oh I want a son so I could do stuff like that."

A tall African-American man walks up to the women, "You can have a son but first you need to find a man baby girl."

Garcia punches Derek in the gut, "Why do I need to look when I have a Chocolate God in front of me."

--

While the three friends talk and exchange jokes, a tall short-haired man walks through the glass door. Brushing past the group he heads straight for his desk with a book in hand.

Derek walks up to the man's desk, "What's wrong did a girl stand you up last night?"

The man ignores.

"Hey, pretty boy. Reid? Look at me."

He finally looks up, "Sorry. I was reading a new case that we just got."

--

Still in deep discussion about the file the leader of the team, Aaron Hotchner, swiftly walks past everyone. "Everyone's here, let's go. We have a new case to review." Entering the briefing room the four were met with the rest of the team, David Rossi and Emily Prentiss.

Garcia takes her place next to the TV monitor with the remote in hand. "Alright, my people you guys will be heading to Los Angeles, California. Three weeks ago The Perkins family was murdered in their home. The father, John Perkins, was brutally beaten, stabbed multiple times, and then shot execution style. The mother, Ally Perkins, was brutally beaten as well but after she was found she later died in the hospital two days after the attack. Their twelve-year-old son, David Perkins, was found in a locked closet, unharmed."

The oldest man in the room spoke up, "That's a lot of rage and remorse the Unsub had."

The remote clicked multiple times again, "Two weeks ago another family was murdered the same way. The father, Toni Riley, was beaten, stabbed, then shot execution style. The mother, Chloe Riley, was beaten and later died a day after the attack. Their five-year-old daughter, Alice Riley, was found in the locked closet by local police officers, unharmed."

Looking up from the file, JJ pointed out one thing, "The first murder was in San Diego and the second one was in Los Angeles. Is this Unsub skipping around and choosing the families at random or is it planned?"

Hotch closed his stack of papers and stand up from his seat, "Wheels up in thirty."
