Tanner

"I'm naming them Bubbles and Sunshine," Dylan smiles looking at the two. I nod as I mess with her curly hair.

"You do you, Kiddo," I laugh.

I'm woken by my alarm blaring. I groan as I turn it off. I grab my phone and turn it on, the light blinding me. I put it down with a groan, rub my eyes and sit up. I walk over to my closet, starring at my hipster-like clothing. I grab a pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt, and a jean jacket from the closet. I put the shirt and pants on, tying the jacket around my waist. I put on ankle-high black boots with a small heel and a gold necklace that's chain reached my belly button. I split my hair in a half-up half-down style, tying the up part in a bun. I curl the ends of the down part and put on mascara. I brush my teeth before making my way to the kitchen.

"You're such a hippie," Dylan laughs. I look down at my outfit and shrug. "You make it work, though," She adds on. I thank her as I grab a banana. I open it and eat it while scrolling through Tumblr.

"You're way too into this Hipster thing," My mom laughs as she kisses my forehead. My phone buzzes with a text message from Romeo, one of the boys from drama who has offered to drive me to school until I get a car.

"Got to go, Love ya," I say as I sling my backpack over my shoulder and walking out the front door. I climb into Romeo's truck.

"You're outfit is stunning," He smiles. I thank him as I put on my seat belt.

My phone buzzes in my pocket as I'm walking to my locker for lunch. I pull it out and look at it. It was a Snapchat from Romeo. As I'm typing a reply, someone accidentally steps on the back of my shoe, sending me falling into someone.

"I'm sorry," I mumble. I look up to find a familiar face.

"We keep meeting like this," Daniel laughs as he helps me stabilize before picking up the books that have fallen from my hands. My face heats up with embarrassment as he hands them to me.

"I'm sorry, again," I sigh, taking the books for him.

"Don't sweat it, Tanner," He laughs. I nod and take a deep breath.

"I'll see you around," He smiles, before walking off. I continue making my way to my locker, scolding myself for being such a klutz.
