Luke got out of his shining white limousine as his chauffeur opened the car door, the media started to crowd around him and started shouting questions at him. He started walking in between six bodyguards and entered the hospital. He got into the elevator, reached the third floor, and stopped in front of the private cabin. He was asked his identity and relationship with the patient.
"Luke, I'm her acquaintance."
"I'm sorry sir, but only family members or close relatives are allowed to enter.", said the nurse .
"We wish her well miss. Now if you get out of my way."
"Sir please you're not allowe-" before she could complete her sentence Luke was already entering the cabin with the bouquet of flowers he had taken from one of his bodyguard.
Luke pushed open the cabin door with the flowers in his hands, spending the entire morning sorting this issue and getting his sister's name out of it was frustrating enough, he didn't need this nurse's ranting; looking forward he stopped short, unable to move anymore, he absorbed the angel sleeping in front of him. Surely he has seen Annabelle in newspapers but this was the first time he ever saw her in person, mere inches away from him she lay with her beautiful chocolate brown hair sprawled around her, her skin so fair that if you touch it will get dirty, looking so fragile that even a breath of air will break her.
Stepping towards her he bent slightly to take a closer look of her face lifting his hands he slowly traced her high cheek bones and down her chin as he breathed in her faint fragrance which was soothing but at the same time a bit pungent, as he heard footsteps he shook his head to come out of the daze he was trapped in and stood straight, the door burst open.
There stood a man in his mid fifties wearing a black tail coat.
"Sir would you please come outside ma'am has not yet regained her conscious "
"Yes", said Luke and followed the man out. By looking at his dress Luke assumed he might be her butler.

Anna heard the low beeping sound of machines around her as she opened her eyes. She instantly closed them back as the white light was too bright to bear, she took one long breath but her chest hurt like hell so she didn't try any sudden movements, slowly blinking her eyes open, trying to get used to the light she was finally able to achieve her goal. Hearing the door open, she glanced in that direction as she saw a nurse entering the room.
"Water", comes out in a hoarse voice Anna doesn't recognize as she feels her dry throat and tries to talk.
"Of course darling" says the plump nurse as she quickly hurries to her side, fills up a tall glass with water and helps Anna to sit up and drink. As the water rushed down her throat, burning its way through, Anna gulps the whole glass in a minute.
The nurse flips a switch which Anna assumes is to call the doctor,"Do you remember what happened to you child? "she asks.
As Anna tried to recall for a few second she remembered nothing but then it all came to her, the drive, the call and the accident.
"The last thing I remember is that I met with an accident earlier today and it started raining" she said looking out of the window to confirm that it was still late morning or afternoon.
"Oh! it was not today my child" said the nurse but before she could finish the sentence the doctor walked in.
"So I see you are awake miss Reed" the doctor said, he looked to be in his forties, with light brown hair and a soft face, "and I heard that you remember the accident" he looked at Anna and the nurse "but it didn't happen today morning, you have been her for four days now and it will take a couple more to get in the condition to go home "
"What!! " Anna said looking at the doctor like he just grew an extra head "its been four days already? and you still want me to stay here?" Anna said loudly hurting her ribs during the action and tries to calm down, " in case you don't know sir, I have a company to run, and by that I remember, could you call in Liam I need to talk to him, I believe he is here? " she said giving the doctor a questioning look.
"Miss Anna, look you are in no condition to work now, even if we release you, you still have to stay in bed for at least two more weeks" he said.
For the first time since she woke up, Anna looked down to herself to inspect her condition; taking even a long breath hurt, let alone moving her neck. All she could see, was a bandaged arm and the rest was covered with a blanket.
"How bad is it? " she asked looking back to the doctor.
"You have a broken rib, fractured left leg, a hurt arm but luckily not broken and some scratches here and there" he said .
"I see, why is Liam not here yet? " Anna looked at the door, confused. As she was about to speak again she saw Liam entering the cabin.
"Ma'am its good to see you are up, all of us were very worried" Liam spoke with a smile.
"Thanks but I'm good again, can I get my phone back, I remember missing a call it may have been urgent " Anna asked.
"Ma'am your phone broke in the accident but this is a new one and every thing data is recovered successfully with all your important documents" he said, handing me the new phone which was exactly similar to my old one "and the last call was from Steve he called to inform you about some project"
"Okay, and Liam could you get the discharge papers ready and I want some privacy now" Anna said.
"Ma'am I can't release you for at least two more days " said the doctor.
" Okay, whatever, can you please excuse me now" she looked irritated.
"Liam, wait, who was the one involved in my accident" ,Anna asked.
"Elizabeth Michaelis " Liam said.
A slow smirk came on Anna's lips.
