As soon as she said those words she smiled brightly and fell asleep on Luke's arm.
What did she mean when she said that she wanted to marry? Did she actually mean it? This has to be sorted when she wakes up luke thought.
"Yes its time to change the drip, skip the afternoon dose of Morphine", the doctor entered talking to the nurse.
Luke stormed out of the cabin, he would never accept this offer made by annabell, marrying Reed was out of question but rejecting this offer came at the cost of his sister's life, God knows what Reed is planning to do with her if luke rejected,"I have to give it a thought and figure out what's going in her mind" he thought to himself.
After returning back to his office Luke had meetings lined up but despite having a schedule as busy as he did the only thought that occupied his mind was the offer made by annabell; for once the idea of having her all for himself brought a smile to his face, remembering how fragile and innocent she looked when she was asleep, the way she was enjoying her milkshakes like a 5 year old would made him want to be with her--
What was he thinking? luke shook his head get rid of all the affectionate thoughts he was having about her and collected his thoughts. Tomorrow he would go and talk to Annabell and sort this mess out.
