Three ***The Offer***

Anna woke up in the morning still feeling a bit sleepy because of the medicines they were giving her.

Tomorrow she will finally get out of this place, after a day full of shouting at people and threatening their jobs, they decided on releasing her. All she had to do now was survive in this hospital environment today without going nuts.

Not that she minded a break, but not being able to do anything was something she couldn't bear, as doing "nothing" was not quite in her nature. Before she could start thinking of something else her phone started to ring.

"Hello Steve, I couldn't get a hold of you yesterday, how did the dealing with the land broker go? You know I want that land no matter the cost."

"Ma'am I'm glad to tell you that the deal was announced in our favour, and I hope you are doing well? " he asked.

"Glad to hear that Steve, and I'm doing fine I'll soon be joining back and you can send the important paperwork here through Liam, he'll pick it up in half hour or so, get them ready till then." saying that she cut off the line and saw the nurse entering the room.

"Oh sweety, you are already up? I just came to check on you, wait I'll bring you some soup " said the chubby nurse.

Anna cringed when she heard soup, "sorry darling you can only have liquid for at least a week, as you know you've hurt your ribs. I don't think it should matter, you look like you might have a tiny appetite, but you know you should get some food into you when you get healthier, girls now a days just want to have a tiny waistline no matter the cost" she said .

Anna remembered the way her mom used to scold her, smiling at her she said, "that's where you are wrong."

" Ma'am here, has quite an appetite ", Liam said entering the room the same moment when she finished the sentence.

"Only liquid right? " Anna said raising one of her eyebrow with a smirk on her face.

As soon as she got a nod from the nurse she she told, " Liam will you bring me two large double cream milkshakes strawberry and chocolate that is, and an extra large mix fruit smoothie that might keep me till afternoon." leaving the nurse wide eyed.

" Will do so ma'am ."

"And pick up some important papers from Steve after that" she said in a serious voice.

Liam went out after saying "Yes ma'am".

James walked through the hallway of the hospital. This time he made sure that his bodyguards were waiting outside.

Stopping in front of her room he thought to himself that is there no one who cares about her enough to stay and take care of her even while she is in the hospital? But maybe she deserved it, after all she did have an image of a serious and arrogant woman.

Just as he entered the room he saw that she had three straws in her mouth at the same time drinking from three tall cups of milkshake.

"What are you staring at? And who gave you permission to come in? " she said with a hard face.

"I didn't know you have to take appointment before visiting a patient."

"What offer do you have Luke? "

"What gave you the impression that I came here to make a deal with you? " Luke replied faking a hurt expression and then smirked.

"Come straight to the point, both you and I know you that you'd do anything to keep your sister out of this mess" she said wiping the smirk off his face "actually don't, I have already thought of something ...marry me"
