"Do you really need to do this?" I groaned as Clarke's handled me a blindfold. He grinned, "Yep. Can't do this without a blindfold. It would ruin the surprise, Ash."

"You weren't joking when you said you are going to call me Ash." I mumbled. He chuckled. "Now, Ash, quit whining and let me blind you."

I gave up and let him blindfold me. When he finished, he took my hand and walked to the car. I heard him start the car and drove. For the next fifteen minutes, I was kept blindfold.

Suddenly, he stopped the car. I grabbed my seat from getting pushed forward and getting a bump on my forehead. "Are you ready?" I heard him ask. I nodded. Five seconds later, he opened the door and led me to somewhere. I tripped few times but he was always there to catch me. I desperately held on him, not wanting to fall.

We stopped walking. "Sit." He ordered and I did, with his help, of course. I sat on a chair. "Can I take off my blindfold now?"

"Yes." I picked up a smile in his tone. I untied the blindfold and took it off. The view took my breath away. I couldn't stop the gasp coming from my mouth.

I was sitting on chair with a table with a meal and wine cups, at outside. We were on a rocky hill, with the view of city lights.

"Do you like it?" Clark asked after a minute of silence.

"Like it?" I scoffed. "I love it. This is so amazing. How did you do it, Clark?" Ignoring my question, he smiled. "I'm glad that you loved it, Ash."

I smiled. He stared at me as if I'm the only girl in this world. And I loved it. I loved the way he looked at me. It made me feel I'm worth everything. Clark Kent always had made me feel that way, I realized.

"So, Ash, I made this homemade spaghetti, would you like some?" He flashed a smile, making my heart skip a beat.

"I would like some, Smallville." I smirked at the new nickname I gave him. He raised his eyebrows. "Smallville?"

"Ash?" I mocked him as I copied his face. "All right, it's only fair." He chuckled. "You're not like all the other women I've ever met, Ash." I shrugged. His saying made me feel special. I guess, in his eyes, I'm special, even though I'm not.

The spaghetti was declious. I ended up having a second place of it. We talked for hours and hours till it got cold.

I shivered as a chill went through me. He looked up at me with a concern. "Are you cold?" He asked. "Little bit." I lied.

He took off his jacket and handled it to me. "What about you?" I asked, hesitating before I took it. He shrugged, "I'm not that cold." I took it and put it on. It smelled like the ocean, I never realized he smelt like that. I inhaled the scent in, savoring each moment. I savored each moment with him. I never had felt this way about anyone before. Until Clark, of course.

"It's almost twelve." Clark glanced at his watch. I gasped. "Seriously? We've been here for that long?"

"I guess we have." He smiled. But that smile disappeared suddenly as he looked at the city. "What's-" I began but he cut me off. "Shh." He ordered. I frowned, what's wrong with him.

"I have to go, I'm sorry. I had a great time, Ash." He stood and ran into the night. What the hell has happened?

Then I thought, he was my ride to home.
