Chapter Five- losers

"Where the fuck have you been?"

Eddie sat down on the couch and clutched his racing heart. "Hunting"

"Bullshit. You would of been back hours ago" Stan crossed his arms and stood in front of Eddie.

Eddie looked up at him and stood up, "Sorry that sucking blood takes longer than tearing meat apart" he sarcastically said.

Stans outfit was as pristine as always. Hard to tell he was out only minutes ago shapeshifting into a werewolf and ripping lambs apart.

Stan furrowed his brows, " You have an attitude"

"Sorry, dad" Eddie sassed.

Stan and Eddie had known each other since the beginning. They both always knew that the other was only teasing, but that didn't mean they didn't care about each other more than the world itself.

Eddie walked into the kitchen where Beverly and Ben sat.

"How's it goin Eddie?" Beverly asked from her spot on the table top

"Great Bev, how was yours and Bens date?"

"Amazing as always" Bev smiled and pulled Ben into a hug. Ben laughed and hugged her back.

" how was the feast?" Ben asked, referring to the full moon

"Good." Eddie answered shortly as he opened a juice box. Bev was stirring something in a small wooden bowl as Ben watched over her shoulder. Her potion twinkled and faded between purple and blue.

Beverly is a witch, the fourth person to join Eddie and Stan in the farm house. Ben followed along soon after. He's a Wendigo. Stan had found him one night while hunting.

Mike walked in at that moment, still wearing his Diner clothes. " Evening everyone"

The farm house that they all stayed in, first belonged to Mike. He's a spirit, trapped in the town of Derry. He welcomed the others with open arms.

Everyone greeted him as he walked to the living room. Mike stopped in his tracks when he saw Bill come from upstairs.

"There you are! I thought I told you to stop using my jackets?! You always poke holes in them with your dumb horns!" Mike scolded Bill who floated to the couch and sat next o Stan.

"S-Sorry. It w-was cold" he defended.

Bill was the last to arrive at the farm house. He had actually stumbled upon them, saying he was sent to earth from hell because Derry was an unholy place filled with monsters. He became apart of the group right away, becoming the closest with Stan. They've been dating since he got there.

Billy is a demon, with black horns on the top of his head and wings with a little tail.

"Eddies been out again" Stan finally broke the silence

"So, let him b-be" bill shrugged. "He's hundreds of years o-old, he can sleep with wh-whoever."

Mike suddenly became interested in the conversation and sat in a chair across from the two.

"It's different. He says this boy is 'the one'. Thinks he might be like us"

"What's his name?" Mike asked

"I don't know. He won't tell me about him." Stan sighed

" I came across a new guy, the other day at the diner. I saw flashes of his future. Sharp teeth and blood. Looks to me that he may be eddies next hunt." Mike leaned back in the chair and peered into the kitchen at Eddie who was rummaging through the fridge.

"He said he didn't want to kill him. His fangs wouldn't even come out." Stan added

"Maybe h-he is?" Bill leaned his head on Stans shoulder.

"No! He can't be in love with a human! We vowed to keep them away from the house! Do you want to get killed?" Stan all but yelled.

"Let's not jump to conclusions. I'll talk to him later." Mike got up from the chair and headed upstairs. He was always the voice of reason.

"Stanny.... I th-think you should l-let Eddie s-see him.... maybe it's time
h-he found his soulmate...." Bill looked at his boyfriend with sad eyes.

" a human though? once he finds out what Eddie is he'll go running. It's better if Eddie just forgets him before he gets hurt." Stan replied in a whisper so Eddie wouldn't hear.

" V-Vampires don't just get f-feelings. If he says h-he feels something
m-maybe it's a s-sign." Bill laced his fingers with Stans, "All e-eddies known is l-lust. N-never love. I support h-him, even if y-you don't. He's s-smart enough to kn-know if it's a bad idea o-or not."

Stan sighed, "maybe. we should find out who he is first."
