chapter fourteen

eddie opened the door to his house to be tackled on to the carpet by red horns and a pointed tail.

"y-you've been out all n-night mister!" bill teased pinching eddies cheek

eddie giggled and rolled on top of bill, pinning him, "what of it loser?"

the two always rough housed. it made eddies ego jump but was still good fun.

mike came out of no where and pulled eddie off by his hood, "alright children settle down."

beverly interrupted and scooped him into her arms making eddie gasp and frown. "your wearing his hoodie!!"

eddie jumped out of her arms and tried to hide the blush on his cheeks. "and...?"

"you totally fucked" ben smirked at eddie who rolled his eyes

"my sex life in no ones concern." he crossed his arms and everyone burst in laughter

"r-really? i wish i-it wasn't our concern when you t-told us about that night out w-with the wrestling teams c-c-captain" bill cringed at the story he had told them

"this is different," eddie defended, taking a seat on the couch, "he... he said he loved me..." he blushed and smiled at the thought

beverly squealed and jumped on to the couch next to eddie, "oh eddie! i didn't even have to give you a love potion!"

eddie giggled and seated her hand away before she could pinch his cheek.

"where have you been?" everyone turned to see stan standing in the door way.

"with richie," eddie answered shortly

"all night?" stan raised a brow and smirked at eddie, taking a sip of his tea.

"r-richie said the "L" word" bill teased, crossing his legs and hovering above the floor.

stan laughed and sat next to eddie, "wow. that's a big step."

"you mean..." eddie glanced at stan suspiciously, "your not mad i was with him all night?"

"nope. what are you now? 200 some years old? you'll always be my little brother but i can't protect you forever. i trust you to be responsible" stan gave eddie a smile

eddie felt his heart swell with happiness, he leaned over to hug stan, "thanks stanny..."

"but if he breaks your heart i'll eat him"

everyone laughed and eddie rolled his eyes in the most loving way, "trust me, he's not like that"

"so when do we get to meet him?" ben asked eagerly

"woah," stan stopped, "i said i approved of him not that he could come here."

"why not?" beverly asked with a shrug

"uh if you haven't noticed we're all kind of unholy creatures from hell." stan rolled his eyes

"true" bill said as he twirled his tail
