chapter thirteen

eddie stood in front of his mirror and held up a shirt to his body. he grunted and threw it aside, holding up an orange hoodie
"ugh. nothing looks good billy" eddie sighed and threw his last option on a chair.
bill floated above eddies bed on his stomach and hummed, "how about b-blue? you always l-look good in it"
"i can't wear blue! it's our first date!" eddie plopped on the bed next to bill, "what am i gonna do"
bill chuckled, "wow you're r-really whipped"
"i know. and i've never been whipped" eddie sighed and looked at bill who was making his red tail into a heart shape " i know wh-who to call"
eddie cocked an eyebrow
bill just smiled, "beverly!!"
after a few seconds bev poked her head in through the doorway, "what's up?"
"eddie n-needs help with his d-date outfit" bill informed
"ah" bev smirked and went to eddies closet, "where are you going?"
"he said a restaurant, and then the quarry for star gazing" eddie smiled to himself and beverly awed
"aw, thats so sweet!" she went through eddies clothes, "and that calls for a sweet outfit" she pulled out a few garments of clothes and handed them to eddie
eddie looked at the outfit and raised an eyebrow, but went into his closet anyways. he came out in distressed black overalls with a pink pastel sweater under it. he wore pastel pink socks over his pants and white vans.
bill clapped and beverly squealed, "awe eddie! you look so cute!!"
eddie looked down at the outfit, "you think so?"
"totally e-eddie. richies gonna pass out" bill reassured
"if your up for it we can do some make up?" bev questioned
eddie thought for a moment and then nodded. he's always dressed androgynously.
bev and eddie sat in the living room on the couch. beverly brushed pink eye shadow on eddies lips as the other watched. she applied a glittery pink lipgloss and dusted blush lightly over his cheeks, careful to not cover his freckles
"and done!" bev closed her make up box and handed eddie a hand mirror.
eddie admires beverlys work and smiled softly, "thank you so much bevy" he hugged her and she nodded
"i hope you have fun on your date" ben said and pat eddies back
"be back by 9 though" stan pointed at eddie who rolled his eyes
"yes dad" eddie mumbled.
bill looked at stan and stan sighed, "fine. midnight"
