As I arrive to the school grounds people looked at me I already hear Whispers "that fat bitch" I didn't pay no attention I just keep walk inside the building I took a deep breath here go nothing I want to my locker to put my stuff away and get ready for first period as I was walking to class someone push my and I almost fell everyone laugh I just pick up my stuff and went to my first period I sat in the front because I want to be the first one out of the classroom when the bell ring so when everyone starts to come in the classroom and started to take their since the teacher began her lesson I was taking notes when the door open and came girl she was new she introduce herself like the teacher asked her to take a seat she took the seat next to me and started talkin to me

" hi my name is Hope" she said

Me:" hi hope my name is unique I like your name"

Hope:" I like your name too you want to be friends I just moved here and I don't know nobody"

I didn't know what to say because I did not want to be used what if she was playing me but my grandma always say you wouldn't know until you try so I guess I'm have my very first friend

Me: sure

I asked can I see her schedule and it turns out that she have all my classes even lunch with me so now I wouldn't have to be so alone I will have someone to talk to besides my grandma and my mom today actually turns out to be great I just still got talked about I heard the whispers but I didn't care because I had someone to talk to so throughout the whole school day me and her we chatted I really got to know her and she really got to know me I finally had a friend and it felt so good to have one
