"But still, how'd you get in here?" I ask again.

"Uh, I knocked and no one opened the door, so I just decided to open it, and it was unlocked," Josh finally says.

"Oh darn! Maddie must've forgotten to lock the door after Jacob left," I say, smacking my head lightly.

"Maddie Ziegler?" Josh asks in surprise.

Oops.

Chapter 28

"Forget I said anything," I say quickly.

A little too quickly, because Josh can tell something's up.

"Is Maddie here?" he asks.

Finally, I give in.

"Yes, Maddie's here, but you have to act like you don't know, and you can't tell her I told you," I finally admit.

"Why didn't she want me to know?" Josh asks.

"I'm not sure," I say.

"Does she know I'm here?" he asks.

"Yeah, I told her," I say.

There's an awkward silence, until Josh starts to talk.

"I just want you to know that I'm over Maddie, and I want you back," Josh says sincerely.

"I want you back too," I say and smile.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks.

I giggle.

"Yes," I reply, and give him a peck on the lips.

"I'll go get your Pumpkin Spice Latte," Josh says and smiles.

I get up and start changing into my outfit for the day. Since it's a Saturday, I don't have classes. I decide to wear sweat pants and a shirt that says '#instafamous'.

I quickly snap a pic for the instagram and add the caption 'ootd #instafamous'.

I wonder what's taking Josh so long.

I walk in to get Chloe's drink, but someone's already there.

"Maddie?" I say.

"Josh! You're here!" she exclaims.

I wonder why she's acting so surprised, Chloe already told her I was here.

"Why are you so surprised?" I say.

"What do you mean?" she says innocently.

"Chloe already told me that you know I am here," I admit.

"What? She told you?" Maddie exclaims.

"Um yeah," I say.

"She wasn't supposed to talk to you about me," she whispers to herself.

She looks up, and suddenly starts kissing me.

I'm growing impatient, so I decide to go get my latte myself.

I quickly walk into our kitchen area, only to find my boyfriend kissing my best friend, Maddie Ziegler.
