"She wasn't supposed to talk to you about me," she whispers to herself.

She looks up, and suddenly starts kissing me.

|Chloe|

I'm growing impatient, so I decide to go get my latte myself.

I quickly walk into our kitchen area, only to find my boyfriend kissing my best friend, Maddie Ziegler.

Chapter 29

|Chloe|

"Josh?" I cry.

"Chloe, it's not what it looks like!" Josh says.

"Josh, save it. I'm done with you!" I yell before running into my room and flopping onto my bed.

I hide my face in my pillow because I don't want to talk to anyone.

|Josh|

"Now look what you've done!" I yell at Maddie.

"I'm sorry! I couldn't help it," Maddie admits.

"You always kiss me when I have a girlfriend!" I shout.

"Y-you have a girlfriend?" Maddie stutters.

"Yeah... Chloe's is, well was now because of you, my girlfriend," I say.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't know!" she cries.

"Just leave me alone!" I yell.

A silent tear rolls down her face, before she runs out of the dorm and down the hall. I have no idea where she's going, so I try to make things right with Chloe.

Josh walks into my room, but I don't want to talk to him.

"Hi..." he says awkwardly.

"I don't want to talk," I say.

"Good, because you don't have to. You just have to listen," he says.

"You know what I meant," I laugh through my tears.

He laughs.

"Maddie kissed me, but I didn't kiss back. She didn't know you were my girlfriend, she thought I still liked her. When I explained that you are, well were I guess now, my girlfriend, she apologized, then cried and ran out," Josh explains.

"Well for your information, I'm still your girlfriend," I smile.

Josh looks relieved.

"Wait which way did Maddie turn when she ran out of our dorm?" I ask suddenly.

I see Josh trying to remember.

"I think she turned right," he states.

"Oh no! I know where she is! Come on we have to go find her!" I shout before exiting the dorm and turning right, with Josh right behind me.
