The It Girl

It's the It girl,

They call the the seed pearl,

Porcelain reputation, clean and neat,

They think she has the world under her feet,

What no one knows,

What she doesn't show,

It's all pretty much the same,

Behind the last mask she wears,

Her pains turning her insane,

The stakes in her heart, you will never see,

That she broke down last night, she will never reveal,

But if you watch closely, carefully,

It's only her eyes which don't wear a veil,

Powerless and weak,

Once a bright soul, now meek,

Hiding behind umteen facades,

Dwells a child with cicatrices unseen.
