Find Her Tongue

She lost her tongue,

Not because she threw it away,

Two hawks ripped it off,

While fighting on their way,

She lost her tongue,

It fell off the nest,

To go down would be death,

Her wings aren't grown yet,

She lost her tongue,

Her mouth bleeds to this day,

Because she keeps bleeding,

Her wings can't take her anywhere,

She lost her tongue,

The nest holds a flood,

She silently bathes in her blood,

She lost her tongue,

Not anymore the bird she was supposed to be,

Still flapping her blood-wet wings,

She desperately longs to be free.
