Hellfire

Bare as once was God's Eve,

Vulnerable,

I stood before mothers many,

Mother of Earth, Mother of Sky,

Mother of Winds, Mothers of mine,

To Mother Nature,

Who all grace bequeaths,

I stand in prayer,

Sorrow in questioning,

Show yourself they say,

Bask in the light of day,

Then cease their gaze,

And turn away,

When I stand fearless,

My scars on display,

So I hide my soul in the darkness,

Like forbidding alleys of the city,

Loathed when I gave you no bearing,

O divine beings,

You branded me hot,

With the name Iniquity,

Like hot iron,

As anguish burns into me,

I wait till it ends,

No cries no sobs no pleas,

Now you open your eyes,

Long gone patience returning to see,

As the ones with the smiles,

Have turned the girl meek,

Still it's not enough,

Nor will it ever be,

For your snow white wings,

O Mothers,

Black horns you have painted on me,

And horns I will keep to grow,

So that one day you'll know,

It will be too late to now heal,

This abomination who no longer feels,

You would then try and try,

But fate never turns,

And all because of you,

In hellfire I shall burn.
